1 Do # 1 Sharpie Mugs Supplies Needed: White ceramic mugs (the inexpensive dollar store ceramic mugs are perfect), letter stencils (both the outline and inside part of the stencil either works), every color of Sharpie you can find, an oven. 1. Select mugs and prewash them. 2. Select your stencil (either letters or graphics will do!) 3. Use sharpies and use dots to fill in the stencil OR add dots to the space around the image you are outlining. Either works! (The image below has dots in the space around the image) 4. OPTION don t use stencils. Just freehand writing or drawing 5. Place completed mugs on a cookie sheet. Preheat an oven to 450 and bake the mugs for 30 minutes. Take them out and let them cool. 6. 2 Do # 2 - Vintage Word Necklace Supplies Needed: Paper/words, glass tiles, bails, necklace/chain, and Diamond Glaze 1. Wipe down tile piece. 2. Put tile piece over the paper (picture/text side up so you can see what will be displayed in your necklace). With a pencil, trace the tile. 3. Cut out your paper on the inside of your line. 4. Coat the printed side of the paper, the side you want to see on your necklace, with your diamond glaze. You do not need a lot of diamond glaze, just a couple of small dots will be sufficient, just enough to cover a thin layer of the glass tile. 5. Attach your paper to the glass tile. If any excess glaze runs out of the edges of the glass, immediately wipe it clean with a damp paper towel. 6. Turn your glass tile over so that you are looking at the back of your necklace. Paint a thin layer of Diamond Glaze over the entire back of the necklace and let dry. 7. When dry, place a small drop of Diamond Glaze onto your bail (chain attachment) and attach the bail in the exact middle on the back and at the top of your necklace. Once the bail has dried, add your chain and enjoy. Tips: Be creative with the paper/words. You can use scrapbook paper with descriptive words, copy pages from the dictionary, print out words/definitions from the computer. Just keep in mind what size tile you are using for your necklace.

3 Do # 3 T-shirt Scarf Supplies: old t-shirt (the larger and wider the t-shirt, the longer your scarf will be), scissors, decorative elements (leather, ribbon, jewelry, buttons, etc), hot glue gun. 1. Cut your t-shirt from armpit to armpit lengthwise and throw away the top part of the shirt (the sleeves). 2. Take the tube (the part of the shirt that covers your belly) and cut the bottom hem off so you have a tube with two unhemmed edges. 3. Cut ¾ to 1 inch wide strips from one looped end to the other. Leave around 1 inch uncut at the top. 4. Once you have all your strips cut, pull on each length to stretch them out and make them curl. 5. Gather all of your strips together at the uncut section so you have them all in a loop. 6. Cover up your uncut section using leather, ribbon, another piece of the t-shirt. 7. Embellish! Tip: There are many videos and picture instructions for this craft on Pinterest. Find one and be sure and practice this once!

4 Do # 4 - Key to Forgiveness Supplies: Antique Keys, Raffia, Scissors, Magazines or lettered scrapbook paper, leather strip/tan cardstock/cardboard, lighter, decoupage, hole punch or awl. 1. Burn edges of leather/cardstock ahead of time. 2. Punch hole in leather/cardstock. 3. Have moms cut out letters to spell their word/words. 4. Glue letters to leather/cardstock. Let the glue dry. Decoupage over the completed word. If you have used cardstock or cardboard, moms can decoupage the entire piece. Tie word and key together with raffia. Tips: If moms are doing two keys each; have everyone make one Forgiveness Key and let them pick the other word. This extra word could be their key to forgiveness; God, love, hope, family, purpose.

5 Do # 5 Dessert of Soup in a Jar Search Dessert in a Jar ; Meal in a Jar or Soup in a Jar on Google or Pinterest and pick the one that suits your budget, time, and taste! There are so many to pick from.

6 Do # 6 Baby Food Jar Candles SUPPLIES NEEDED: Baby food jars, wide painters tape, craft knife, newspaper, spray chalk paint, paint pen, ribbon, votive candles 1. Clean and dry baby food jars in different sizes. 2. Place wide painters tape on jars. 3. Use a craft knife to cut design out of tape. 4. Remove extra tape. 5. Place newspaper on the inside of the jar leaving enough out of the jar to hold the jar away from your body. 6. Leaving the painters tape design on the jar. Spray the chalk paint all the way around and on the bottom of the jar. 7. Let dry and then remove tape. 8. Use paint pens and ribbon to decorate as desired

7 Do # 7 Ten Dares Create a Dare List, incorporating something new, something fun, something messy, something silly. Brainstorm and create a list of 10 things to do with your children and try a few in your group before you head home! This project allows for lots of discussion among moms. There are so many options for listing the Dares! Keep this simple by just having moms make a list of their Dares. Get a little fancier by providing a mason jar for each mom, decorating it, writing the dares on a strips of paper and putting them in the jar. Give each mom a small journal and write one dare on each page and then encourage her to write how she accomplished the dare. Use scrapbook paper and embellishments to create a list worthy or framing.

8 Do # 8 Verse Square Supplies: Use canvas squares or wood blocks, Printed phrases or verses, magazines to cut letters or phrases from, decal or sticker letters. Glue, Mod-Podge, sharpies, paint, embellishments. Tip: You do not need to provide all of these items. Pick the items that fit in your budget and tailor the steps below to the supplies you have. Tip: Have some sample phrases or verses for moms to consider. But encourage them to be creative. 1. Give each mom a canvas square or a wood block. 2. Select the phrase to put on your block. Either write it, paint it, cut it out and glue it on the block or canvas. 3. Add paint or glue embellishments to add to the look of your block. 4. Allow time for this to dry. Tip: Do this craft at the beginning of the meeting to allow plenty of drying time.

9 Do # 9 - Flags Supplies: Provide large sheets of paper divided into 4-6 sections OR provide 4-6 separate pieces of paper cut into the shape of a pennant. Provide crayons, markers and old magazines. 1. Ask each person to draw pictures, symbols or words describing who they are, what s important to them or what they enjoy. 2. Assign something to each section favorite emotion, favorite food, a hobby, a skill, where you were born, your family, your faith. 3. Allow plenty of time for members to share their categories with someone else in the group. The important part of this activity is not the creativity, it s the conversation.

10 Do #10 - Post-it Stand Supplies: Clear frames, Post-its, Scrapbook paper, Scissors, Ribbon, Embellishments, Pen 1. Cut scrapbook paper to fit frame. 2. Slide paper inside of frame. 3. Stick post-its on the front. 4. Attach ribbon and/or embellishment. 5. You can use a hot glue gun to adhere the ribbon/embellishments to the frame.
