1 December 2009 Greetings to Go Ornamental Materials: Ornamental Greetings to Go Ornamental Unmounted Borders & Backgrounds and Font Ornamental CS Wood Mounted Brightest Ornament Stamp Ornamental I Love You Art Nouveau Stamp Ornamental Enjoy Your Very Special Day Greeting Stamp Tools: Bone Folder Paper Trimmer CS Grid Ruler Scissors Adhesive Craft Knife and Ruler Piercing Tool and Cork Board Glitter Glue CS Palette Inks: Onyx, Ruby, Sandstone, Amethyst, Earth Fold all cards along score lines and reinforce creases with a bone folder. Before making creases, check to make sure that all edges are aligned. The edges of many finished cards, panels and die cuts have been colored with ink. This step is optional, and the directions to ink edges are not included below. For a softer look, ink with a sponge or stylus tool with blender tip. For a bolder effect, ink directly from the pad onto the card. Remove the die cuts from the 8.5x11 and 12x12 sheets. If you do not have an item needed to complete the card as it is shown, simply eliminate the step, or modify it to use items that you have in your stash.

2 December 2009 Ornamental Page 2 of 7 Set A: 5x7 Ivory Cards with 4-1/4 x 4-3/4 Penny Panels Card #1 Ivory Die Cut: Enjoy Your Very Special Day 1. Starting with the lightest color first, ink the WM image with multiple colors and stamp onto the Ivory card. 2. Nest the Ivory die cut onto the Penny panel and layer onto the moveable square portion of the Ivory card. Card #2 WM Greeting Stamp 1. Stamp the Ivory card with the UM ribbon image in assorted ink colors. 2. Stamp the WM greeting, UM ribbon, and UM adventure quote onto the Penny panel with Onyx ink. Layer the panel onto the card.

3 December 2009 Ornamental Page 3 of 7 Card #3 Card #4 Card #5 WM Greeting Stamp Ivory Die Cut: Happy Anniversary Rust Organza Ribbon 1. Nest the Ivory die cut onto the Penny panel and layer onto the moveable portion of the card. 2. Stamp the top, left and right sections of the card with the UM border image and Ruby ink, as shown. 3. Tie a bow with organza ribbon and attach to the top center of the card. 1. Lay the Ivory card open and flat on your work surface. Locate the center of the moveable panel with a ruler and pencil. 2. Stamp the UM image onto the card eight times with the tip of the image matched up with the center point, as marked. Stamp first at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o clock. Then stamp into the remaining areas to complete the circle. 3. Stamp the WM Greeting image onto the lower left corner of the moveable panel. 4. Stamp the small UM image onto the left edge of the card repeatedly to create a border. Ink along the left edge of the border, as shown. 5. Attach the Penny panel to the reverse side of the Ivory card. Penny Die Cut: Thank You (2) Copper Mini Brads 1. Stamp the UM border image with Earth ink onto the Ivory card. 2. Cut along the right edge of the stamped border on the center square of the Ivory card with a ruler and craft knife. 3. Tear a 1 strip from the right edge of the Penny panel. Reverse the torn strip and attach to the Penny panel, as shown. Attach the Penny die cut to the torn strip with two mini brads. 4. Ink the left edge of the card up to the edge of the stamped border.

4 December 2009 Ornamental Page 4 of 7 Set B: 4-1/2 x 6-1/4 Penny Cards with 4-1/4 x 6 Deep Purple and 4 x 5-3/4 Ivory Panels Card #1 Penny Die Cut: Thank You for Your Kindness Rust Organza Ribbon Copper Mini Brad Card #2 1. Ink the UM image with multiple colors and stamp onto the upper right center of the Ivory panel. Set a copper brad into the center of the image. 2. Sandwich the ribbon between the folded Penny die cut; attach to the Ivory panel and wrap ribbon ends around to the back of the card. Secure ribbon. 3. Nest the Ivory and Deep Purple panels and attach to the Penny card. WM Art Nouveau Stamp 1. Ink the WM image with multiple colors and stamp onto the left edge of the Ivory panel. Stamp the Art Nouveau image on the lower right side. 2. Layer the Ivory and Deep Purple panels onto the card. 3. Apply glitter glue dots onto the stamped image and set aside to dry overnight. Card #3 Ivory Die Cut: With Deepest Sympathy 1. Cut the Deep Purple panel horizontally at Nest the Ivory die cut onto the 4.25x4.25 panel. 2. Trim the Ivory panel vertically at 3. Cut the 1x5.75 Ivory strip horizontally in half. 3. Cut the 1.75x4.25 Deep Purple strip horizontally in half. Nest the Ivory strips onto the Deep Purple strips to create two portions of the border. 4. Stamp onto the Ivory borders with the UM image. Attach to the left and right edges of the Penny card. Hide the gap between the strips with the die cut.

5 December 2009 Ornamental Page 5 of 7 Card #4 Penny Die Cut: Another Birthday 1. Rub assorted CS inks directly onto the Ivory panel, as shown. 2. Immediately stamp WM image with Sandstone ink several times onto the Ivory panel. Rub away the newly stamped ink with a paper towel or cloth to reveal the Ivory paper color beneath. 3. Attach the Penny die cut to the panel, and layer onto the Deep Purple panel and Penny card. Card #5 WM Greeting Stamp 1. Apply CS inks directly onto the Ivory panel in a circular motion. 2. Stamp the UM image onto the card, as shown. 3. Stamp the WM Greeting into the lower left corner of the panel. Nest onto the Deep Purple panel and the Penny card. Set C: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Berry Cards with 4 x 5-1/4 Green Apple Panels Card #1 Cranberry Fiber 1. Stamp the UM images onto the Green Apple panel, as shown. 2. Wrap the cranberry fiber around the panel several times and tie ends into a knot on the front of the panel. Attach to the Berry card.

6 December 2009 Ornamental Page 6 of 7 Card #2 Penny Die Cut: Congratulations (2) Copper Mini Brads 1. Stamp the UM image onto the upper half of the Green Apple panel with Onyx ink. 2. Attach the Penny die cut with two mini brads, and layer the panel onto the Berry card. Card #3 Penny Die Cut: Ornament Image Copper Mini Brad 1. Stamp the WM image onto the Green Apple panel with assorted ink colors. Stamp the UM quote and accent border onto the bottom of the panel with Onyx ink. 2. Fold the Penny die cut over the top edge of the panel and secure with a brad. To add dimension, leave a gap between the die cut and the paper. 3. Attach the panel to the Berry card. Card #4 Ivory Die Cut: Happy Birthday Ivory Ribbon 1. Layer the Ivory die cut onto the upper center of the Green Apple panel. Tie the ribbon into a small bow and attach to the bottom center. 2. Attach the panel onto the Berry card.
