3 Page 3 Holly Card I used a little bit of everything in this month s kit to create the holly card. The base is white cardstock, then I layered squares of all the other cardstocks along with the printed holly paper, adding a bit of black cardstock from my stash to make it POP. Next, a scalloped circle cut from a Nestability die for the base along with more die cut holly, then layers of scrolls made from the gold gilded quilling paper along with fringed flowers made of ¼ gilded red. Some of the white scroll stickers from the sticker sheet were added on the corners, then topped off with a holly bow. If that is not a HOLLY- day I don t know what is!

4 con t from pg3 Page 4 Gilded Snowflake The gilded strips in the kit are wonderful to use for snowflakes. The gold just shimmers when the light catches it, showing off the delicate filigree even more. A whole tree full of these snowflakes would be so beautiful! Oval Scallop Ornament This ornament is very versatile. I used 4 ovals that I creased down the center, then glued together to make mine. but you could use any shape. The options are endless a circle, diamond or any of the great shapes that are out there now. Decorating them is only limited by your imagination!

5 Page 5 Tea Bag Dispenser This project can either be a gift or for yourself if you are a tea drinker. I used the 1/8 metallic red edged strips to make these poinsettias that have a lot of dimension. The gold strips were used to make the leaves and centers. I knew the lovely vintage-y holly paper would be a perfect backdrop for the poinsettias. All layers were inked and gold-edged with a gel pen. The punched greenery, pinecones, and flowers make it festive for the season. A SCUT2 file to cut the tea box with assembly instructions. It has all the cardstock/designer paper layers also will be ed with each order.

6 con t from pg5 Page 6 Gold Hanukkia Card I love the gold-edged strips in the kit and the richness it gives to the hanukkia design on the card. The hanukkia was made from tight coils, small rectangles, wheatears, and scroll shapes - a little of everything. As with many of my holiday projects, this one will be displayed and decorate my home. Tassel Tag This is a project idea that I have been wanting to start for some time, tassel tags. It is an oversize tag that is attached to a large tassel and hung from a doorknob or drawer pull for decoration. The same poinsettias are used as in the Tea Box with the addition of quilled scrolls. I love the dimension and sparkle that these 1/4 strips give the scrolls. Playing off the metallic strips I used glimmer sprays on the red cardstock to compliment them. The snowflake stickers were embossed with a kaleidoscope embossing powder for more sparkle. The tag is attached to the tassel by the double bow and a new tag can be tied onto it for the next season or holiday.

7 Page 7 Reviews Sue Deck the halls with boughs of holly (and quilling!) Fa, La, La, La La, La, La, La, La!! Time to start thinking holidays, and this kit will help! Red, green and white cardstock, with holly printed paper and ribbon to match will get you in the spirit. A touch of red and gold-gilded quilling strips and really cute snowflake stickers, all coordinated for you to create beautiful decorations for your Christmas season. Sonya Again, another wonderful array of supplies for holiday projects! I think you will love working with the 1/8 strips as I did. The beautiful gold and red metallic edges will give your projects a sparkle that will catch the eye! The red metallic-edged strips give a pretty and elegant edge to folded roses petals. They are so versatile. The snowflakes will find their way onto another project with the roses! Have fun crafting with this month s kit.
