Brad, his agent is about to produce a movie about Dr. Victor Frankenstein and the monster he created. Is a love story, and Mandy could play the part of the lady that Frankenstein loves But there s one condition: She has to convince his boyfriend Oscar Frankenstein (Victor s grandson) to let them use the family mansion, and all its secrets A famous scientist, Frida Petroff would create a robot to play Frankenstein s role. But during the night Frida discovers something (or someone) that might change everybody s plans Frankenstein, the monster has been kept hidden inside the mansion as people used to be afraid of him because of his looks. But Frankie is good, kind, has a noble heart and wants to be loved Will he get a chance this time?

2 2 Suggested Activities prior to the performance 1-Retell Frankenstein s story. Bear in mind that in our version, Frankenstein is not evil, so he is not killed by his creator, but hidden instead 2- The main theme of the story has to do with discrimination for being different. The characters are scared of Frankie and call him a monster without getting to know him. Discuss how everybody is different or unique and that what a person looks like on the outside has nothing to do with what is inside. Every person has special talents and qualities. Create your own monster : Discuss some of the features that might make up any regular person (small ears or big ears, curly hair or straight hair, freckles, glasses, scars, humps, skinny or fat, wear pants, dresses, sneakers, high-heeled shoes, construction boots, ballerina slippers, etc ) a- Use the appendix A to draw a person (or copy that chart on a really large sheet of paper and then create an art gallery ) b- Now, cut through the dotted lines and exchange the pieces with 2 partners c- Tape together the different body parts on appendix B to create a totally unique creature. d- Now, let s meet this pretty unusual-looking people!!! What special qualities does your monster have? What special talents does your friend possess? What does your monster like and dislike? What do you have in common with your monster? 3-In addition to constructing the monster, each group could do the following: Write a poem or a chart mentioning the good qualities of the monster. Write a poem from the monster to someone he/she likes. Present the monster and the poem(s) to the class.

9 9 Activity 8 Let s play! - Boggle Divide the class in groups-play against your friends Here are the rules: The objective of Boggle is to find words in a small board with tiles by moving from tile to tile. You can start a word from any tile on the board, and as long as the next tile in the word is adjacent to that tile, you can continue the word. You can move forwards, backwards, or diagonally. However, you cannot use the same tile twice in a word.1 point per letter used- If the word is related to the play you get double points!!
