1 Silverwing Novel Study Name: Please note that page references may not be accurate for all versions. This study guide is meant to help students who may be absent from school and need to get work completed or want to understand what happened while they were out. A chapter summary of material missed will also be satisfactory for completion of work. When writing a well-constructed paragraph answer, remember the RACES acronym to support improved literacy. Your paragraph should follow this pattern. R Restate the stem of the question in your topic sentence A Answer all parts of the question C Cite evidence E Explain and elaborate how evidence supports ideas S Summary statement (closing sentence)

3 Chapter 3: The Echo Chamber Explain the Great Battle of the Birds and the Beasts. Chapter 4: Ablaze Describe the landmarks that Ariel sings to Shade. What does this action foreshadow?
