Map On the great spaceship Skidoo, three crew members, Blinky, Winky and Snoozy, were standing to attention as the President Captain Obama addressed them. He was walking around like he had something important to say. As you know, he said, we are headed for the planet of Rainbow Land. If we have time we might even stop in Banana World on the way! Yes President Captain! said Blinky. Yes President Captain! said Winky. Zzzzzzz snoozed Snoozy. President Captain Obama walked to the opposite side of the ship. But we have a problem, there is something in our way, he said sternly. BANANA WORLD ms ea r e C Ic
RAINBOW LAND THE SKIDOO CHEESE WORLD
Wordsearch This story was written from all your suggestions at the show. Can you fi nd them all in this wordsearch too? alien farts bat man Bloggy the Alien Cheese World Gary the Alien humans Hat Green Oshawat mum s feet oxygen tank President Obama Rainbow Land space biscuits skidoo tomato pizza Vespas What s a spaceman s favourite salad? Rocket!
Blinky, Winky and Snoozy shuffled across the room. Is it a monkey? asked Blinky. Is it a train? asked Winky. Zzzzzzz? asked Snoozy. No, said the President Captain, it s something far worse than anything we ve ever met. It s the meanie Hat Green Oshawat! And his evil meanie the bat man. The Skiddoo had run out of tomato pizza and space biscuits. Everyone had been surviving on a diet of the stink of mum s feet. They needed to get to Rainbow Land to get new supplies of pizza and biscuits, but now they were going to have to face the mean Hat Green Oshawat. President Captain Obama knew this meant he needed a very brave volunteer, which is why Blinky, Winky and Snoozy were here. It was time for a test. They all closed their eyes and then all the animals in the Skiddoo s zoo made the loudest and scariest noise that they could. Snoozy was woken up very suddenly and ran away! All the wax that had clogged up Winky s ears flew out across the room and she also ran away. This just left Blinky, whose didn t just blink his eyes open and closed but his ears too, and that meant he could only hear some of the scary noise. You re the one for this mission, Blinky! said the President Captain and he pressed the autopilot button to set a course straight for the meanies. What happened? asked Blinky.
Cheese, cheese, cheese everywhere! laughed the Hat Green Oshawat. Everyone knows cheese is the most delicious food ever made and I m going to have it all for myself! She looked out over Cheese World at all the cheese she had stolen. Grimsby was part bat, part man and all meanie minion. He came in with a sack and said Master, I have stolen the last of the tomato pizza and space biscuits! Once you have all the cheese, all the pizza and all the biscuits, what else will you do? I m glad you asked! said the Hat Green Oshawat who was glad Grimsby asked. Everyone likes cheese! So I m going to make all the air smell like cheese! Then you would want cheese, but you can t have any because I have all the cheese in the universe! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! That is a truly evil plan Master! said Grimsby. That must be why you ve been stocking up on oxygen tanks, to spread the cheese air around! How many more oxygen tanks do you need? Just one more, said the Hat Green Oshawat, and we ll steal that from the next spaceship we see! What kind of music do planets sing? neptunes!
Colour in Gary and Blobby the aliens
At the bottom of the Skiddoo, Bloggy the alien and Gary the alien were cleaning the storage bay. Like everyone else on the ship, they were really hungry but Bloggy and Gary had two things that kept them going. One was the diet of the stink of mum s feet, the other was taking pride in their job. We re so good at keeping dirt away, said Bloggy as he scrubbed the windows, that I think that we d also be great spaceship guards and keep the meanies away! You re right, said Gary. We d stop all meanies from sneaking in and stealing any of our oxygen tanks or animals from the zoo. Just then Bloggy and Gary heard an announcement. Humans and zoo animals! We are about to land on Cheese World for refuelling. Cheese World is a dangerous and restricted planet, so do not leave the ship. Repeat, do not leave the ship, said the ship s computer. Why did no-one like the restaurant on the moon? it had no atmosphere!
I m ready to leave the ship, let s go Blinky! said President Captain Obama. Blinky looked worried, then not worried then worried then not worried. But President Captain, what about the ship s warning? he asked. I m the President Captain, so I m just going to press the Ignore button and ignore it. There won t be any danger here, we ll even leave the door unlocked.
REFUEL HERE ON OUR SAFE PLANET What is an astronaut s favourite key on a computer? the space bar! The Hat Green Oshawat looked very pleased with herself. That spaceship has landed! Ha ha ha ha! Our big sign saying Refuel here on our safe planet has worked, I love it when we trick people with our trick signs. Oh yes master, said Grimsby. Do you remember when we had a sign saying Free ice-cream in the deathpit? There wasn t any ice-cream! The Hat Green Oshawat looked at the great spaceship Skiddoo. I bet they have an oxygen tank, Grimsby. Go and get it and then we ll spread the smell of cheese everywhere! On-board the Skiddoo, the ship s computer was warning everybody that the door was open and an intruder was on board. Bloggy was ignoring it, as the Ignore button had been pressed. He almost ignored Grimsby too, until Grimsby walked into the storage bay to steal the oxygen tank. I m here for the o, said Grimsby. Octopus? interrupted Bloggy. We have one in the zoo. Grimsby said No, I m here for the o Orang-utan? I m always cleaning up after that, go ahead and take it, said Bloggy, picking up an orangutan. No, I m here for the oxygen tank, I m going to steal it for my master! and Grimsby grabbed it and ran out of the Skiddoo.
Outside on the surface of Cheese World, President Captain Obama was puzzled. Where is all the cheese of Cheese World? he wondered. Just then Grimsby ran past him with an oxygen tank. That looks familiar, said the President Captain. That s because it s our oxygen tank! yelled Bloggy who was chasing it, so President Captain Obama started running too. Grimsby thought he could run faster than Bloggy and the President Captain, but he had forgotten about the Skiddoo zoo and the monkeys caught him! President Captain Obama really wanted the pizza and as he was about to get a slice, the Hat Green Oshawat pulled it away! Ha ha ha ha! I tricked you again! No pizza for you, and I m going to keep your oxygen tank! I need it to fill the universe with the smell of cheese! But that s what we use it for, said Blinky. Our primary mission is to pump out the smell of cheese everywhere we go. We need to do it to cover up the horrible smell of alien farts. Why did you steal our oxygen tank? asked President Captain Obama. I ll tell you, said the Hat Green Oshawat who had just arrived, but first would you like a delicious slice of cheese and tomato pizza?
The Hat Green Oshawat suddenly realised that people might like everything smelling of cheese. But if you have the same plan as me, he said, then maybe I m not a meanie after all? President Captain Obama wasn t sure. He wanted to team up with the Hat Green Oshawat, as together they could work quicker and spread the smell further. But the Skiddoo had important things on board, like the zoo and the fleet of Vespas. The President Captain had an idea. It was time for another test. If you found some money in a shop and it wasn t yours, would you keep it or return it to its owner? he asked. I d keep it all for myself! said the Hat Green Oshawat. Wrong! said Blinky, you should give it to the owner. President Captain Obama tried again. If you saw someone on Banana World with a banana that wasn t yours, and you wanted a banana, what would you do? The Hat Green Oshawat said I think I would take their banana and stuff it in my face! Then she looked at Grimsby who was shaking his head and began to realise she was wrong. One last chance for you to come with us or get left behind, said President Captain Obama.
If you came across a spaceship with an oxygen tank, and you needed it, would you steal it or ask nicely to borrow it? This time the Hat Green Oshawat carefully thought hard, and looked at Grimsby and Blinky and all the Skiddoo zoo animals. Then she realised what she should do, smiled, and said I would ask nicely! Hooray! cheered everybody. The Hat Green Oshawat and Grimsby gave back everything they had stolen, and President Captain Obama invited them to join the crew of the great spaceship Skiddoo. Everyone ate pizza and biscuits to celebrate, and by working together the smell of cheese was pumped far and wide into the universe for everyone to enjoy.
