There s more Bealtaine in F Na B than ever before this year, with the pagans stepping up their antics and invading the whole programme. Our new bursary scheme to encourage deeper participation in street theatre has been very successful and hopefully something we can sustain and broaden. 3 Camille O Sullivan Áit: St. James' Church Cathain: Satharn/Saturday 8pm Costas: 25 Support act, Cat Dowling One of the most wonderful voices in Irish contemporary music - Irish Times Ceol Music Lig duit féin a bheith tarraingthe isteach i ndomhan dorchadais, solais, sorcais agus taibhreamh fad is atá Camille O'Sullivan ag canadh a leaganacha fíordhramatúla d'amhráin Brel, Cave, Radiohead, Bowie agus a thuilleadh eile nach iad. Camille is inspired by these dramatic narrative songs: dark & light: bittersweet stories, that hold a mirror upto the stranger side of society. These songs question what is around them and what exists in them, in a way what theatre does; the crack within oneself, comfort of black humor, melancholy, darkness versus innocence, exposing and celebrating your madness and vulnerability. Dorcha, gnéasach, fíochmhar, greannmhar agus draíochtúil, claochlaíonn Camille gach amhrán a chanann sí ina eispéireas dian, dramatúil tochtmhar, ag tarraingt a lucht éisteachta isteach i ndomhan soilsithe ag dorchadas agus solas araon. Bí ag súil le gliondar agus paisean íonghlan. Fierce, amusing and mesmerizing, Camille transforms each song she performs into a grippingly theatrical experience 3

Rob Beighton Into the Mystery - A story of love A vision of the beauty of Nature, Man and Woman. In the endless garden of childhood, imagination coloured the world with possibilities that had no limits. From beyond the hills came the call of the unknown, the beckoning voice of half remembered things whispering their truth on the wind. Come sit, come look, come listen; come walk, come climb, come live the mystery. On hearing this song, who could resist? Áit: Diseart Upper Garden Cathain: Aoine / Friday 9.30pm Shelagh Honan Passage of Sound Passage Of Sound is a slow, poetic work which draws its inspiration from the origins of the slow air, Port na bpucaí. The video features a lone figure whose journey takes him to remote regions such as the karst lunar landscape of the Burren and the secret lakes nestled in the bowels of Mount Brandon. This two-channel video installation has been specifically adapted to incorporate the complexities of place and location in the small cottage dwelling where it can be seen in Dykegate Street in Dingle.
