1 Characterization results DR-8k-3.5 digital highspeed linescan sensor according to EMVA1288 Standard Revision 2. Revision 1. AWAIBA Lda Maderia Tecnopolo Funchal Portugal
2 Introduction In the following characterization data according the EMVA1288 Standard for the DR- 8k-3.5 digital line scan sensor is given. The presented data is from a random picked single sample. Besides the data according EMVA1288 further data is presented, namely the temporal noise using off chip correction of the pixel value by the average of the dark pixels implemented on chip, which brings a significant improvement of temporal noise. The respective parameters are named lincorr. It is strongly recommended that the user of the sensor implements this correction, however as it is not implemented on chip this possible improvement is not taken in account for computation of the EMVA1288 data. General Information: Vendor Name AWAIBA Lda Model Name DR-8k-3.5 Sensor Type CMOS Digital Line Scan Sensor Sensor diagonal in mm 28.67mm Indication lens category (inch) -- Resolution ( width x height) 8192 x 1 Pixel size 3.5um x 3.5um Readout type 8 Tap 4MHz 12bit parallel Shutter type ( Rolling/ Global) Global Shutter Overlap capabilities (Integration overlaps Interleaved integration & Readout Readout) Maximum frame rate at given operation 9765 lines / second point Type of presented data (typical typical /guaranteed/ guaranteed over live time) Definition of "typical" (number of samples 1 random sample etc..) Other relevant information (interface type 12 bit digital parallel etc...)
