6 Location, Location, Location Repeaters are often located on high ground or tall towers that offer greater coverage than that offered by simplex operation.

7 The Repeater System Can Grow In the future, it will be possible to coordinate all of the Storehouse's in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and their underlying Stakes under one large umbrella network, using repeaters controlled by members. 9 Greater Range A repeater s expanded coverage greatly enhances the ability to communicate with mobile stations and hams using hand held transceivers.

10 There are over 100 Stakes that are served by the SCIRA, Inc. Repeater System. From Fresno to the Mexican border. From the desert to the sea. Mutual assistance and cooperation between these Stakes is essential during emergencies.

SCIRA Inc. repeaters can be used for public service events that you volunteer to help with. Make sure that you have registered with SCIRA, Inc. before starting any type of net or

23 Google docs. During an emergency you can report the status of your Stake on Google docs. This information is shared with Area Authorities and can be relayed to church leaders in Salt Lake City. You can update the information as new information becomes available. 23
