While thi code i pecified a a Space-Time code, it may alo be ued a a Space- Frequency code or a a hybrid. Propoed STC for Tx-rate tranmiion We propoe to add the tranmiion matrix: j0.77 C= j which i calculated from where C = ( + r + 5 r =, φ = 0, and φ = π. + jre ) + jre φ j φ j jre φ j φ j jre + + The propoed change i managed by the fact that the new tranmiion matrix C provide the full diverity gain (the diverity order of x no. of the receive antenna in the cae of an uncorrelated Rayleigh fading MIMO channel), while maintaining the rate or multiplexing gain of the exiting tranmiion matrix B in Section The new matrix C with the full rate of tranmit four ymbol over two OFDM ymbol time (cf., two ymbol over one OFDM ymbol time in the matrix B). Uing the propoed code, the full diverity gain i achieved by tranmitting each data ymbol o that it experience all the poible branche in the MIMO channel over two OFDM ymbol time while maintaining the code error matrix of rank. Then, the code ha been deigned o that the pairwie error probability between codeword could be minimized in order to maximize the coding gain. The - -

The code admit decoding with a imple decoding algorithm of little more complexity a the typical decoding algorithm for matrix B.
