4 Functon System nformaton The covva smartbox forms the nterface of wrelessly communcatng devces such as KNX rado actuators or Twn Band devces and WLAN as well as IoT applcatons to the exstng IP nfrastructure va a network router. Electrcal loads and functons of the buldng control can be nterlnked, vsualsed, montored and operated on moble end devces or statonary computers by means of a moble app or browser-based web app. In ths way, locaton-ndependent access to the buldng management system - va the home network and va the Internet - can be ensured and at any tme. 8 2 Project mplementaton Log n to the app as admnstrator (Fgure 6) Followng project handover, the admnstrator automatcally receves an e-mal n the covva app from hs or her nstaller ndcatng that Connected Home can now be used and contanng the access data (e-mal address). The admnstrator can now log n to the covva app. The (moble) end devce s onlne. Open the covva app. The covva ID for connectng to the smartbox s dsplayed. If ths s not the case, use and the (moble) end devce's camera to scan n the covva ID shown on the rear sde under the cover or enter t va the keypad. Select Logn to change over to the logn page. The admnstrator must have a myhager account. If an account has not yet been created, followng handover, the user wll be forwarded to the regstraton page the frst tme he or she attempts to log n (see settng up myhager account). Enter User name and the Password for the myhager account and log n wth Add user. If the General Term of Use (GToU) for the covva app have not yet been accepted n the my- Hager account, the correspondng web page must be accessed at ths pont. 9 Add user (Fgure 7) The admnstrator can set up a user profle wth correspondng access rghts (see Table 6) for all tenants and vstors for operatng the buldng control va the covva app. As local operaton also functons offlne, we recommend that as the admnstrator you create an addtonal user profle for yourself wth standard access rghts (user). As a user, you can log nto the app and reman logged n wthout havng to valdate the access data onlne. In the man menu press and call up the settngs wth. Select All users The Users vew s called up. Then carry out the followng actons as requred: A new password can be assgned wth Change password, whch must be confrmed wth or dscarded va Back. The password for them can only be changed on Hager webste (see myhager account). If other user data was entered ncorrectly or must be changed, for example, a new e-mal address should be entered, the user must frst be deleted va Delete User and created agan wth the correct data. Alternatvely, the nstaller can perform a user reset on the smartbox n order to restore the project to ts status pror to handover. 11 3 Confguraton adapton The followng descrptons are based on the moble app n the IOS system. The Androd app as well as the descrptons n the Web app may vary slghtly from ths, but the functons, buttons and messages are dentcal. Update devce software (Fgure 9) If a software update s avalable for the smartbox, ths s dsplayed va a message. We recommend carryng out the update mmedately n order to get new functonal mprovements and to prevent ncompatbltes. Start the update wth Install. The RGB dsplay (1) of the smartbox flashes durng the update. It goes out after successful completon of the update. The operaton may take a few mnutes. If the connecton s dsconnected durng the update, restore the connecton wth Retry. If the update s to be carred out at a later tme, frst declne the update va Later. Each tme the app s subsequently opened, the update wll be offered agan. my devces Update avalable A new update for your covva controller s avalable. Durng the update process the covva controller wll be not reachable for some mnutes. The context menu for selectng the devce category for the product to be ntegrated opens. The lst of compatble products s avalable under /covva. Add Netatmo weather staton (Fgure 10) The weather staton (ndoor module) has been commssoned and has been regstered n the WLAN network. A Netatmo account has been created. In the context menu select Connected devce. The vew for enterng the access data of the Netatmo account opens. Enter E-mal address and password for the Netatmo account of the customer and fnsh va Let s go. The connecton setup of the app va the smartbox to the Netatmo account s dsplayed n the app. If the connecton s successful, Netatmo s dsplayed. 15 Create covgram Covgrams are deal for frequent or condtonal actons that should be controlled and/or automatcally trggered. A covgram defnes a scene, n whch a defned trgger starts one or more actons. Dfferent trggers are possble for the same acton(s). Trggers and actons are defned va If Then -logc functons. In the course of ths, several trggers are OR-lnked, whle several actons are AND-lnked. Bascally three types of trggers can be defned: Tme: Ths allows a daly routne to be confgured at a specfc tme or one/several weekday(s) to be selected, when one/several acton(s) s/are to be trggered at a specfc tme. Event: Ths allows a devce wth a respectve swtchng/operatng state to be selected, whch then forms the trgger for one/several acton(s). A group cannot be defned as a trggerng event. Play: When selectng the manual trgger, one/several acton(s) can be started exclusvely by an operaton n the app. Defnable types of actons for the trgger are: Devce: One or several devces can be selected from all added devces and ther swtchng/operatng state, whch should be reached after the trgger, can be defned. Push notfcaton: An ndvdually created text message can be wrtten for one/several trggers, whch appears as a push message for all users n the app when trggered. Tmely nformaton can be helpful n order to ntate a countermeasure f requred. Once the project has been handed over, the nstaller does not receve a push message any more. In the event that the app s not opened, the push message s addtonally output on the end devce, f enabled. Partal: If a zone s selected as an acton, a heatng zone can be controlled after trggerng, for example, a new temperature setpont s receved or another operatng state s swtched to. In ths way, many combnatons are possble. As an example, three tasks wll be mplemented one after another n one covgram each: Example 1: Temperature warnng (Fgure 13): Task: If the room temperature drops below 18 C n the bedroom or chldren's room, a message should be sent n order to check ths actvely and to ntate countermeasures f requred.
