It is the only neurogenerator to be fully integrated with Leksell Sterotactic System. Versatility Delivered Leksell Neuro Generator is a complete system designed for a wide range of treatment techniques and therapies, including: Impedance measurement Macro stimulation Continuous RF treatment Pulsed RF treatment Stereotactic brain lesioning Bipolar coagulation Unique Capabilities The Active Tissue Characterization feature further improves performance for delicate treatment. The instrument automatically tests specific tissue response to small amounts of current before each treatment. It then optimizes parameters accordingly, enabling safer treatment and a better outcome for the patient. The remote control is another unique feature. Used for macro stimulation, it allows the clinician to closely follow the patient s reactions. Leksell Neuro Generator can be safely and effectively operated while fully draped under full sterile conditions. Cannulas for Easy Access The cannulas are designed for use with the customized thin RF electrodes. They are straight or curved, equipped with a sharp or blunt tip, and provided in many different tip lengths. The cannulas offer easy access and guidance through the tissue and are intended for single use.
