2 TACTICALL COMPACT COMMUNICATION > FEATURE OVERVIEW WHAT IS TACTICALL COMPACT? TactiCall Compact is a smart, efficient and cost effective solution for smaller vessel communication requirements. The compact system provides intercom, radio control and a common IP LAN platform for internal data distribution. Since TactiCall Compact makes up a condensed version of the TactiCall ICS platform, it will not require a central communication or management server. Because of the compact and smart architecture, the system will decrease both installation time and associated costs. The basic configuration can actually be completed within minutes. As the system is server-less, connection of user terminals and radio gateways to the LAN network is all that is needed for system setup. The intuitive and modern user interface will guarantee secure and reliable operations within every operational setup, easily adaptable to squadrons and/or single boat operations in harsh environments. The TactiCall Compact is based on the latest technology from the TactiCall product family, delivered to customers worldwide and across various domains in different configurations, - both military and civilian. In every way TactiCall will put you in control of a robust and highly survivable system with no single point of failure, which will let you handle voice and data communication in a fast and efficient manner. The TactiCall s provide direct full duplex audio connections between operators with no limitation in the number of participants within the intercom conference. TactiCall Compact supports a wide range of the TactiCall User terminals including audio and PTT accessories for harsh environment such as aspects of acoustic noise, vibration, acceleration, shock and blast. RADIO COMMUNICATION In today s world even small vessel operations often consist of joint setups. Task or coalition force operations and even civil and NGO agencies can be important players in the operation. More often than not, this setup includes a multitude of different frequency bands including TETRA and SATCOM terminals. TactiCall will integrate all these into one simple and easy to use solution using our TactiCall s and IP based radio gateways. Multiple radio and intercom nets can be operated simultaneously from a user terminal and the built-in instant recorder facilitates instant replay of radio and intercom communication. Utilizing this functionality Government or task force commanders will be able to communicate directly with whomever needs to be addressed - facilitating a much smoother and more rapid Statement of No Objections chain for example.
