These series provide improvemens in sensiiviy o remoe conrol signals in dark ambien as well as in sensiiviy in he presence of opical disurbances e.g. from CFLs. The robusness agains spurious pulses originaing from Wi-Fi signals has been enhanced. The devices conain a PIN diode and a preamplifier assembled on a lead frame. The epoxy package conains an IR filer. The demodulaed oupu signal can be direcly conneced o a microprocessor for decoding. The TSOP.., TSOP4.., TSOP6.., TSOP4.., TSOP44.., and TSOP46.. series devices are designed o receive long burs codes ( or more carrier cycles per burs). The hird digi designaes he AGC level (AGC, AGC4, or AGC6) and he las wo digis designae he band-pass frequency (see able below). The higher he AGC, he beer noise is suppressed, bu he lower he code compaibiliy. AGC provides basic noise suppression, AGC4 provides enhanced noise suppression and AGC6 provides maximized noise suppression. Generally, we advise o selec he highes AGC ha saisfacorily receives he desired remoe code. These componens have no been qualified o auomoive specificaions. The devices can disinguish daa signals from noise due o differences in frequency, burs lengh, and envelope duy cycle. The daa signal should be close o he device s band-pass cener frequency (e.g. 8 khz) and fulfill he condiions in he able below. When a daa signal is applied o he produc in he presence of a disurbance, he sensiiviy of he receiver is auomaically reduced by he AGC o insure ha no spurious pulses are presen a he receiver s oupu.
