1 What is needed to construct a NIR instrument? First, we have to distuingish between: Frequency domain spectroscopy Frequency domain spectroscopy and Time domain spectroscopy λ in nm or cm -1 λ Time domain spectroscopy Interferogram P(t) P(t) is the time domain power time 3
