The receiver oupus can be swiched o eiher or boh drivers hrough he muliplexer conrol signals S and S. This allows he flexibiliy o perform splier or signal rouing funcions wih a single device. The LVDS sandard provides a minimum differenial oupu volage magniude of 47mV ino a Ohm load and receip of mv DC signals wih up o V of ground poenial difference beween a ransmier and receiver. The PI9LVB doubles he oupu drive curren o achieve Bus LVDS signaling levels wih a 5 Ohm load. A doubly erminaed Bus LVDS line enables muli-poin configuraions. Swiching beween channels does no creae false ransiions on he oupus. The inended applicaion of hese devices and signaling echnique is for boh poin-o-poin base-band (PI9LV) and mulipoin (PI9LVB) daa ransmissions over conrolled impedance media.
