2 A Broad Market TI in Medical Devices Today
3 TI HealthTech Engineering components for life. TI Solutions for Wearable Optical Bio-Sensing - Industry s Lowest Power - Industry s Best PPG signal quality - Fitness parameters beyond just HR
4 What s Pulse Oximeter Pulse oximeters are non-invasive devices used to measure blood-oxygen saturation level. In blood, oxygen is carried by Hemoglobin(Hb), named HbO2, Oximeter uses PPG(Optical) to measure saturation level of HbO2. PPG: Oxygenated blood HbO2 has wavelength dependent absorption characteristic, absorption also depends on oxygen saturation level. Typical value is from 90% to 100%, can be lower to 60%.
