1 DESCRIPTION Serves as a supplemental reference for FlexNet operators on performing the recommended daily monitoring process to verify overall read performance, base station/rf network operation, RNI operation, and meter operation; intended for use after completing the FlexNet Operator training. FIGURE 1: DAILY MONITORING PROCESS ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT This document is organized into four sections based on the steps for monitoring RNI operation and performance (Figure 1). Each section is divided into groups of tasks used to monitor the network. Tasks are referenced in table format to include a brief description about the task (Info), where to go in the Sensus Launch Pad applications to perform the task (Where), the steps to complete the task (Steps) and the possible results with subsequent actions to perform (Result and Action). At the conclusion of this document is a one page checklist summarizing these tasks. TERMS USED IN THIS DOCUMENT: SLP = Sensus Launch Pad DM = Device Manager SLP > DM = indicates application path FOR MORE RMATION FlexNet Operator Manual Education web site at VERIFY OVERALL READ / NETWORK PERFORMANCE A.
