4 ATTISAT SA is a Greek registered company specialising in the field of microwave communications and equipment. Founded in 1997 by a team of specialists in the field of satellite communications and perceptive investors. Current ownership structure includes, apart from the founders, a group of investors with a significant presence in the Greek market. ATTISAT SA designs, develops, manufactures and markets flat antennas for Direct-to-Home satellite TV reception. International patents protect these antennas and ATTISAT holds the exclusive rights for their design, manufacturing and distribution.
5 Design and development of VSAT networks and Wireless Microwave systems are also included in its activities. The company is also active in the Distribution of High Quality satellite equipment for the Greek market. ATTISAT S.A provides also Research and Development activities in third parties, especially in the frame of Multimedia Terminals and equipment. A team of highly qualified engineers and managers with experience in their fields of expertise are responsible for the company's activities from research and development up to production and marketing.

7 PRODUCTION ATTISAT has experience in the design and procurement of moulding production tools for injection and thermoforming plastics and of metal tooling. Should the market needs dictate, ATTISAT is capable of casting and forming using specific CAD s/w for the mechanical design of the pieces and the tools. It is also capable of setting up a production line for flat and parabolic antennas or other passive microwave component in a very short time.
8 RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ATTTISAT is involved in the initial design of the products, prototype implementation and testing. ATTISAT's personnel and associates have an accumulated experience of over 25 years and expertise in space telecommunications and microwave engineering. They have been involved in a large number of projects at national, European and international level.
9 Example projects are: Design and implementation of various flat antennas from L-band to Ka-band. Design of a GaAs FET low noise amplifier for satellite applications. Design and implementation of microwave filters for the 25 MHz - 30 GHz, frequency band. Design of typical wireless apparatus; e.g., RF front-end amplifiers, up/down converters,passive microwave components, CDMA Detectors etc. Wireless digital communications MODEM performance evaluation and development. Simulation of digital satellite channels. Design and implementation of VSAT subsystems and networks. Design and implementation of digital satellite modems.

11 PRODUCTION ATTISAT's production line incorporates the manufacturing equipment, production flow and control. The manufacturing equipment includes a number of moulding, casting, thermoforming, cutting and press tools. Production control involves the inspection of performance, validation, capacity level determination and resource monitoring. In order to conform to strict specifications and maintain a high quality level, production testing is carefully conducted. The assembly line involves the use of electric tools, production line testing equipment and packaging equipment. Production capacity is up to planar antennas per year or units per for other type of antennas

13 DEMONSTRATION CENTER An advanced Demonstration Centre has been developed by ATTISAT S.A at its premises enabling the Demonstration of various satellite applications like Two-Way satellite communications, TVRO reception etc.

16 Due to their small size and environmentally friendly shape, planar antennas are attractive for DTH satellite TV reception (ASTRA, EUTELSAT, HELLASSAT etc.) in areas where the installation of bulky conventional parobolas is not permitted. The main advantage of ATTISAT's proprietary design is that it leads to a high performance, high quality flat antenna that can be produced in large quantities at a relatively low cost. ATTISAT flat antennas incorporate an optimum combination of radiating elements and printed circuits within an ergonomic and environmentally friendly construction. Based on ATTISAT's design, technologically advanced transmitting and receiving flat antennas, with a relatively small size can be developed for applications such as, mobile telecommunications, LMDS, MMDS,etc.
17 THE FL500 ANTENNA ATTISAT FL500 antenna presents high interference rejection from neighbouring satellites and exceptional cross-polarisation discrimination (<-30 db). Due to its small size and mass plus its elegant design, it can easily be installed on the balcony, in the garden or the roof, suiting naturally with the environment. Attisat S.A offers an impressive range of designs thus transforming an antenna into a decorative element. Due to their very low profile ATTISAT FL500 antenna is an excellent solution for satellite TVRO systems in mobile platforms (caravans, vehicles etc.)

19 ATTISAT's personnel are experienced in the design and installation of VSAT point-to-multipoint networks. They have designed and set up the first Satellite Network for Seismic Data collection in Greece. Working in close cooperation with its clients, ATTISAT provides Turn-Key Satellite Communication solutions for Data, Voice, Video distribution. Its activities include the design, procurement, installation and maintenance of Civil and Governmental satellite earth stations for DVB Audio/Video distribution and complete SCPC networks. Being one of the partners of the HOST project the company has been involved in the early phase of the development of the HELLAS-SAT Net DVB-RCS network responsible for the Pilot Sites installation and maintenance in Greece, Albania, Serbia, Morocco and Tunis.
