2 GENERAL NOTES RANGE: The range recorded by the FDR is the range of the output label of the digital computer or the range of the sensor. DATA: The sign is defined by the Most Significant Bit : usually bit 12. When the sign = 1, the data = - (two's complement multiplied by the resolution). When the para is on two words (N and N+1), the sign is defined by the MSB of the (N+1) word. In this case, if the sign = 1, the data = - [("Word N" two's complement multiplied by the resolution) + ("Word N+1" two's complement multiplied by the resolution)].
