2 Training Description: Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) comprises of digital trunked mobile standards developed by the European Telecommunications Standardization Institute (ETSI) to meet the needs of Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) user organizations for public safety, military services, transportation, government services, disaster and emergency. This infrastructure constitutes the mobile radio needs for public safety groups such as police, disaster and fire departments, utility companies, and other enterprises that provide voice and data communications services. Some unique PMR services of TETRA radios include the wide area fast call set-up, Direct Mode Operation (DMO) with back to back communications facility, high level voice encryption for security requirements of public safety organizations, and emergency call facility in any disaster. To meet the everchanging user requirements and latest technology utilization, TETRA Release 2 has been enhanced to include the TETRA Enhanced Data Service (TEDS) that provides wideband high-speed data communication services. Telxperts Ltd. provides deep insight to TETRA Radio communication, features and services in this training course. This course assists to learn the TETRA Radio architecture, deployment, system details, network layer, data link layer and physical layer, air interface, technical operations, security, voice coding, vulnerabilities, flexibilities, and durability. The attendees will also learn how to program the TETRA Radio Terminal and utilize TETRA communication and VoLTE for public safety.
