4 Logging into ERPi Launch the Workspace URL and login

14 Create an ERPi Import Formats Choose Setup > Import Format > Add

15 Create an ERPi Import Formats Provide the following information and press Save Name: Something meaningful and unique Description: Something meaningful Source System Accounting Entity Target Application Import formats are similar to the previous Metadata Rules

16 Create an ERPi Import Formats Provide the segment relationship between the segments and the target dimensions. Note: It now shows the dimension name versus Custom1, Custom2, Custom3, Custom4, etc. Press Save

17 Create an ERPi Location Choose Setup > Location > Add

18 Create an ERPi Location Define the valid Location information Name: Unique meaningful name Import Format: Import format to leverage Accounting Entity: Accounting entity to apply against Target Application: Valid Target Application Press Save

19 <Insert Picture Here> Create Target Application Metadata You need to define Metadata rule only if you plan to load Metadata. If you want to load just data you can skip the entire Metadata rule definition and running.

20 Create an ERPi Metadata Mappings Select Setup > Metadata > Add This is the process as previous Metadata Rules and initializing

21 Create an ERPi Metadata Mappings Add the required dimensional mappings with mapping details Press Save

22 Create an ERPi Metadata Mappings Execute the Metadata Mapping initialization by pressing Execute

23 Create an ERPi Metadata Mapping Verify the Agent execute some work: Verify the items inside of the ODI Operator

32 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Now that we know that data is being exported we can configure the FDM ERPi adapter to leverage this rule and file created to then import data to then complete the mapping and the data-management process. To do that start by logging into FDM and importing the adapter.xml File > Import > ERPI-FIN-B.xml

33 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Once the process is done you are returned to the main Workbench Win32 window and the ERPI-FIN-B adapter is now available under the Source Systems Adapters section.

34 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Next you need to register the Adapter.DLL. File > Register Adapter > fdmerpi.dll A MS-DOS box will briefly appear during the registration and then close

36 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management To configure the adapter right click (ERPI-FIN-B) ERP Integrator > Options After editing each entry, you will need to press Save We will only go over the key ones.

37 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management ERPI Database Service Name Name of the ERPI database service /server used for ERPi ERPI Database User/Schema and Password Username and password of the database user for the ERPI database. This user information is used to transfer data from the ERPI database to the FDM database. Workspace URL and Port Information <WorkspaceServerName>:<Port> ERPI Data Rule Name The name of the ERPI data rule to be executed. Generated earlier in this PDF. Enable Drill Through Generate data file for audit trail* * ERPi no longer generates a data file to be used during the import. The data is now brought into FDM via a Database Link. If the data file is required then this option should be enabled, but it is never used other than for an audit.

38 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Now an import format needs to be created to leverage the ERPI Adapter. Log into FDM and choose Metadata > Import Formats

40 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Add a new import format Make sure to choose File Type as Adapter Make sure to set the Delimiter to NA Update Grid to save change

42 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Now we need to assign the import format to a location. Select Metadata > Locations Highlight the desired location, click the Workflow Behaviors tab, and set the import format. Press Save to commit the changes

43 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management Test the import by setting your POV to the Location you just linked to the ERPi Adapter. Navigate to the Workflow > Import Click Import on the Upload File Tab

44 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter Hyperion Financial Management If all went successfully you should be able to see records on the screen. From this point forward, standard FDM practices are involved.

45 Configure the FDM ERPi Adapter This completes the ERPi Target System Registration This completes the ERPi Adapter configuration for FDM This completes testing the adapter
