Ths warranty s provded for a perod of two years. The warranty perod starts from the delvery date. Ths warranty s n force f duty and responsbltes whch are determned n warranty document and nstructon manual performs by the customer completely. 1.4 Mantenance Repars should only be performed by traned and specalzed personnel. Cut power to the devce before accessng nternal parts. Do not clean the case wth hydrocarbon-based solvents (Petrol, Trchlorethylene etc.). Use of these solvents can reduce the mechancal relablty of the devce. Use a cloth dampened n ethyl alcohol or water to clean the external plastc case. 6

7 2.Installaton Before begnnng nstallaton of ths product, please read the nstructon manual and warnngs below carefully. In package, - One pece unt - Two peces mountng clamps - One pece nstructon manual A vsual nspecton of ths product for possble damage occured durng shpment s recommended before nstallaton. It s your responsblty to ensure that qualfed mechancal and electrcal techncans nstall ths product. If there s danger of serous accdent resultng from a falure or defect n ths unt, power off the system and separate the electrcal connecton of the devce from the system. The unt s normally suppled wthout a power supply swtch or a fuse. Use power swtch and fuse as requred. Be sure to use the rated power supply voltage to protect the unt aganst damage and to prevent falure. Keep the power off untl all of the wrng s completed so that electrc shock and trouble wth the unt can be prevented. Never attempt to dsassemble, modfy or repar ths unt. Tamperng wth the unt may results n malfuncton, electrc shock or fre. Do not use the unt n combustble or explosve gaseous atmospheres. Durng the equpment s putted n hole on the metal panel whle mechancal nstallaton some metal burrs can cause njury on hands, you must be careful. Montage of the product on a system must be done wth t s fxng clamps. Do not do the montage of the devce wth napproprate fxng clamp. Be sure that devce wll not fall whle dong the montage. It s your responsblty f ths equpment s used n a manner not specfed n ths nstructon manual. 7

Do not do the montage of the devce wth napproprate fxng clamps. Be sure that devce wll not fall whle dong the montage. 2.7 Removng from the Panel Before startng to remove the unt from panel, power off the unt and the related system Loosen the screws. 2-Pull mountng clamps from top and bottom fxng sockets. 3-Pull the unt through the front sde of the panel 3 11

12 3.Electrcal Wrngs You must ensure that the devce s correctly confgured for your applcaton. Incorrect confguraton could result n damage to the process beng controlled, and/or personal njury. It s your responsblty, as the nstaller, to ensure that the confguraton s correct. Devce parameters has factory default values. These parameters must be set accordng to the system s needs. Only qualfed personnel and techncans should work on ths equpment. Ths equpment contans nternal crcuts wth voltage dangerous to human lfe. There s severe danger for human lfe n the case of unauthorzed nterventon. Be sure to use the rated power supply voltage to protect the unt aganst damage and to prevent falure. Keep the power off untl all of the wrng s completed so that electrc shock and trouble wth the unt can be prevented. 3.1 Termnal Layout and Connecton Instructons Termnal layout for ethernet communcaton Termnal layout for RS485 communcaton ETHERNET COMMUNICATION D - D + RS 485 COMMUNICATION RS 232 COMMUNICATION USB 2.0 USB RS 232 COMMUNICATION Max. 2.5mm / nch Wre Sze: 18AWG/1mm² Sold /Stranded Torque 0,5Nm Screw drver 0,8 x3mm 12
