Watertight and immersible. Insulated. Can be buried into purposedely-deisgned pits. MV PLUG-INS ON THE SEPARATED CONNECTION INTERFACE : The MV plug-in terminal systems of the connection interface guarantees total operational flexibility : Easy to plug in and unplug. Optimum reliability : the watertight connections rarely come in contact with water. Regardless of type of cable used, a specially designed plug-in terminal answers all your requirements. Absence of voltage test, earthing and short circuiting checking compartments, in conformity with recommended NFC standards, accessible directly on the top of the interface. IDR Tri with a network input and output on the twisted three-pole cable and a transformer supply derivation. IDR Bi with a network input and output on the two pole cable, an output network on the twisted single pole cables and a transformer supply derivation. The transformers low voltage output is carried out with a 1.5 meter H 07 RNF cable. A LV plug-in terminal for the transformers with a power rating superior to 8 kva can be provided. 4

5 DOUBLE «AUTO» PROTECTED TRANSFORMERS : Protection devices directly incorporated in the transformer guarantee : MV protection with easily-accessible HRC fuses Thermal protection using a thermal probe on a 1.5 meter long cable Optional : Low voltage protection using thermal-magnetic circuit breaker or fuses installed in a separate cabinet allowing protection against short circuiting with the possibility of several feeders. Starting from 8 kva this protection can be integrated directly on the transformer. Stick fuse on the TEE 1 kva Stick fuse on the Three-phase TED-E 5 kva Two-pole circuit breaker in a low Voltage cabinet (CBT) ADVANTAGES OF MODULOBLOCS SERIES A complete range of equipment to carry out absence of voltage tests available on request, conforming to recommended NFC standards. Connection accessories routinely delivered with each transformer. Voltage adjustment tap changers of +-5% provided to transformers from 16kVA and to the three-phase transformers of all power ratings. Selection of phases carried out directly on IDR connection interface enables, using the single-phase transformer installed on three-phase networks, the charge on the three-phases of the network to be balanced. Modulo tri 10 kva The IDR connection interfaces are also used as deviation boxes. MV networks epoxy resin accessories are also available. They enable cable isolation to be carried out, among other things. On request, AUGIER technicians carry out on site technical assistance, in France start up of MV installation and guarantees technical training leading to full understanding of the technical features of the product and how it works. 5

6 MODULO BI RANGE Electrical modular equipment comprising the single-phase 3200 V network The range of MODULOBLOC products consists of TEE or TED-E transformers, IDR connection interfaces and annex equipment. EXAMPLES : IDR BI junction Two way junction allowing existing networks to conform to safety regulations and recommended NFC standards. IDR BI deviation MODULO BI system with TEE 5 kva single-phase transformer and IDR BI connection interface Three way junction bow allowing a two-phase concentric or twisted single-phase cable connection 6 to 25 mm² in cross section. All above sets have a checking compartment allowing absence of voltage text to be carried out as well as earthing and short circuiting (MALT / CC), conforming to NF-C and UTE standards and requirements. DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS -Functional separation in three parts guarantees optimal reliability and easy access to maintenance points: *The transformation and MV fuse protection part, installed at bottom of the pit, are immersible. There is no connection point and therefore it needs no maintenance. *The connection part installed in the upper part provides easy access to all circuit points, the phases or neu tral position is clearly visible. *Low voltage protection is optional. - Application of regulations in force guarantee safety of maintenance workers: *A specially-provided compartment is directly accessible for this, situated on top *The absence of voltage test is carried out directly on the network, without interface. *Earthing and short circuiting is carried out before any handling of the terminals. - Easy installation: *Easy- to- assemble and operate connections : only network ends need to be built. *Connection to the network is carried out by one- pole plugs. *Equipment standardisation: connection box has only one model, fewer transformers and low voltage cubicles. 6

Two half*-power two -pole circuit breakers. On request, it can include circuit breaker (up to 25kVA) or low voltage fuse directly on transformer lid. 9 190 INTERFACE IDR BI : CONNECTION INTERFACE IDR BI Epoxy resin monobloc terminal, pluggable, waterproof, single pole, lockable, to be fixed on the pit s walls, with following characteristics: Insulation voltage: 7.2 kv Crossing current in operation 3200 V single phase: 100 A This terminal consists of eight, single pole plug-in inputs allowing equally the functions of the input line, output or deviation line, deviation towards TEE or TED-E transformers, absence of voltage test (VAT) as well as earthing and short circuiting. On request : : this VAT cabinet can be equipped with a devices used only to test absence of voltage and to carry out earthing and short-circuiting. The single pole plugs resin support is asymmetrical to guarantee positioning of the phase in relation to neutral position Male two -pole plug Manipulated with a safety rod equipped with CMB key, for absence of voltage test and carrying out earthing and short-circuiting. 10 ANNEX EQUIPEMENTS SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE TOOLS: The operation key CMB for a two- pole plug allow extraction of male plugs and placing of earthing plate, with the help of a safety manipulating rod. Operation key CMB The earthing and short circuiting plate PMCB, manipulated with a safety rod, must be used only after extraction of the male two pole plug. Earthing and short circuiting plate PMCB EQUIPMENT TO INSULATE THE UNPLUGGABLE BBM male two pole plug can be used to insulate any one of the four IDR inputs. Three pole plug BBM-I (For TNRS network) BBF female two pole plug can be used to insulate two single pole plugs, thus leaving an isolated network. Female two plug BBF (*) EQUIPMENT TO EARTHING, IF NEEDED, PLUGGABLE PARTS: Earthing and short circuiting plate, PMCB, can earth any one of the four two -pole IDR inputs. 11 MAINTENANCE ACCESSORIES Maintenance operations for all MODULOBLOC systems must conform to NF C standards using the following accessories. Maintenance procedure is fully described in AUGIER S brochure «Maintenance of Modulobloc 5500 V networks». The safety manipulating rod is used for all operations and is telescopic. The electric voltage detector with sound signal is delivered in a special protection box supplied with extensions and batteries. The earthing clamp is attached to one part to the earthing strap, and another to the nearby earth circuit. The 1.5 metre-long earthing strap allows attachment of eathing and short-circuiting plate to the earth circuit. 11

12 MODULOBLOC TRI RANGE Electrical modular equipment comprising the 5500 V three-phase networks The range of MODULOBLOC products consist of TEE ou TED-E transformers, IDR tri connection interfaces and annex equipment. EXAMPLES : Three-way three-phase deviation MODULO tri system with 5 kva single phase transformer. Two -way three -phase junction allowing existing networks to conform to safety regulations. Three -way derivation with two 5 kva transformers. All above sets have a checking compartment for absence of voltage test (VAT) and carrying out earthing and short circuiting for safety protection (MALT/CC), conforming to NF-C and UTE standards and requirements. 18 SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE TOOLS: ANNEX EQUIPEMENTS The CMB operation key for three- pole plugs allows extraction of male three- pole plugs and placing of earthing plate, with the help of a safety manipulating rod. Operation key CMB The earthing and short circuiting plate, PMC, manipulated with a safety rod, must be used only after extraction of the male three- pole plug. Earthing and short circuiting plate PMC EQUIPMENT TO INSULATE THE UNPLUGGABLE PARTS: The BTM male three- pole plug can be used to insulate any one of the four three- pole IDR inputs. The BTF female three -pole plug can be used to insulate either a three- pole plug or no more than three single- pole plugs. MAINTENANCE ACCESSORIES LOCKING SYSTEM PRINCIPLE Using an interlocking system access to the transformers and connection interface are dependant on the earthing and short circuiting of the cabling supplied at origin. This is carried out using an interlocking key together with a Ronis or Profalux key. MANHOLE LOCK The TED key can activate a safety lock to release the grid located inside the inspection manhole between access cover and transformer.
