All I/O wiring connections are made on the chassis via compression screw terminals which accept up to 12 awg wire. The I.S. ground connection is via a #8 screw stud with self-locking nut, also located on the chassis. Optional ground buss bars are available to simplify grounding of cable shields or I.S. ground referenced return signals. Recommended maximum DC or Peak AC voltage (referenced to I.S. ground) that can be applied to the safe side barrier terminals (with hazardous side terminals open circuited) to meet a maximum leakage current of 1 µa or 1 µa as specified. The maximum resistance that can appear between the barrier s hazardous and safe side terminals. The fuse manufacturer s rating for maximum continuous current flow without opening the fuse.
