12 Calibration and Validation HITL Fly-outs are compared to fielded data. HITL internal signals compared to Captive Seeker field data. HITL signal injection is compared to measured signal in the Clean Room Laboratory on actual hardware. Clean Room Laboratories are equipped with NIST traceable calibrated blackbody sources. All sources, power meters, and other equipment are subject to strict periodic calibration. 12
