11 Joint Hydrographic Re-survey in the SOMS Joint Hydrographic Survey by Malacca Strait Council and OTCA (at present JICA) Joint Hydrographic Re-survey by JICA. 12 Joint Hydrographic Re-survey in the SOMS In response to the request from littoral states of SOMS, MLIT-Japan has an intention to propose the Multi-beam Joint Hydrographic Survey, if 39 th TTEG decide to conduct surveys and ask Japan to support it. Phase 1 : 5 critical area in TSS Funded by the Japanese Shipowners Association etc. Implementation period : 2015 to 2016 Phase 2 : Entire/main area of TSS except the 5 critical areas Possible contribution from financial resources of Japan If official proposals from the littoral states meet all the necessary conditions contingent on 39 th TTEG approval. Implementation period: 2016 to
