Connect the Motor Rotary Encoder to terminals (+24V, PGA,PGB,PGZ,COM) in the drive. ( Pl note PZ is not required for Asynchronous motor. it is required only for synchronous motor ) Connect Door open command Digital Input to DI5 and Door Set F905=1 Close Command to DI6 Set F906-2 Take Close Limit NO contact Output between TA1& TC1 Set F909=4 Remarks 4 (OR) Take Door Blocked Signal NO Contact Output between TB3 & TC3 (OR) Set F909= Door drive error signal NO output between TA2&TC2 Set F910=5 Take Open Limit NO Contact Output between TA3 &TC3 Set F911=3 Require setting for Door blocked output:- For Door open blocked torque adjustment, use parameter F3-09=80%(default). Set F8.17 = 4 to avoid Error no 31 - Door open obstruction trip. For Door open blocked judging time adjustment, use parameter F3-11=0 ms (default). Adjust this timing parameter to 100 to 500 ms to enable the Door open blocked output function For Door Close Blocked torque adjustment, usef3-14=100%(default) or F4-19=100%(Default) and F4-20=100%(Default) For Door open blocked judging time adjustment, use parameter F4-15=500ms(Default) Page 1 of 26

4 Motor Tuning The motor tuning must be in the panel control mode (F0-02=0). Before tuning Motor parameters (F1-00 to F1-05) and encoder PPR must be set to the actual value F1-16 is Tuning mode selection parameter F1-16=0 Tuning mode is not selected F1-16=1 for Asynchronous motor Static Tuning F1-16=2 for Asynchronous motor Complete Tuning F1-16=3 for Synchronous motor No-Load and Complete Tuning F1-16=4 for Synchronous motor Loaded Tuning Remark:- Running with load will affect the accuracy of motor tuning. If permitted, it is better to choose noload/complete tuning Page 4 of 26

5 Synchronous Motor Auto Tuning Flow Chart F1-00=1 choose Synchronous motor Set the motor name plate details- F1-01, F1-02, F1-03, F1-04, F1-05 &Encoder PPR value F2-14 Tuning selection: Tuning with load (or) Without load (Physical Load Separation) Select F0-02=0 for Operation panel control, F1-16=3 for no-load Tuning/F1-16=4 for Loaded tuning (Choose accordingly). If Loaded tuning is selected, please make sure that there will not be locked rotor because of inadequate door width for tuning and Please make sure that the load is fully removed if F1-16=3 is selected. Tune will be displayed when is pressed, motor tuning will start when or is pressed. After successful motor tuning process, F1-16 becomes 0. Check the motor direction by pressing the or button, use F0-04 to change the operating panel speed. Page 5 of 26

6 Asynchronous Motor Auto Tuning Flow Chart F1-00=0 choose asynchronous motor Set the motor name plate details- F1-01, F1-02, F1-03, F1-04, F1-05 &Encoder PPR value F2-14 Tuning selection: Static Tuning or No-load tuning (Physical Load Separation) Select F0-02=0 for Operation panel control, F1-16=1 for Static Tuning/F1-16=2 for no-load tuning (Choose accordingly). Please make sure that the load is fully removed if F1-16=2 is selected. Tune will be displayed when is pressed, motor tuning will start when or is pressed. After successful motor tuning process, F1-16 becomes 0. Check the motor direction by pressing the or button, use F0-04 to change the operating panel speed. Page 6 of 26

7 During motor tuning, F1-06 to F1-15 parameter values are updated Now run the motor by pressing Open on operating panel and check the direction of motor running. It should be in opening direction. Otherwise set F005=1 (operation direction setting). Now check the motor runs smoothly. Use the Stop/Reset button to stop the motor. Also check the running direction of the motor by pressing CLOSE button on operating panel. Connect the belt drive system if Non-Load motor tuning is performed. Now press Open button in keypad and observe door opening. Simultaneously monitor FA-28 parameter for OPEN display. Now press Close button in keypad and observe door closing. Simultaneously monitor FA-28 parameter for CLOSE display. Now keep the Car door completely open to proceed for Door Width Auto Learning function Follow the below parameter setting for Door Width Auto Learning function S.N Parameter Default Set Remarks 1 F For Door Width learning function 2 F601 3 Hz Increase depends on door width or door weight For Door width learning speed setting 3 F Door Width Learning function Enabled 4 OPEN CLOSE Now press / button on operating panel for Auto Door Width Learning function. Now system follows the below sequence 1. Door will close completely with speed set in F Then Door will open completely with set speed 3. Again door will close completely 4. After successful completion of the Auto Door Width Learning, display comes to normal status and Door width Pulse Low bit and High Bit will be stored in parameter F602 & F603 accordingly If Error20 & Error27 occur during Auto door Width learning, check the suitability of Encoder, Encoder wiring and also check the system by changing the parameter F215=1(Pulse Encoder Direction selection-reversal) After successful completion of above functions, system is ready for Normal operation Now Keep F002=1 for Door Drive DI terminal Function Page 7 of 26

11 Auto demonstrating mode (Test mode): After completion of Door width learning process, check the performance of the door open and close operation. OPEN CLOSE Select F0-02=3, press / button and door starts opening and then closing continuously with the default speed. Check the opening and closing performance. To modify the performance, use parameters F3 Open door run parameter F4 Close door run parameter F6 Distance control parameter F2 Performance control parameter to achieve the required smooth door operation. Follow the procedure if Low resolution PPR Encoder is used in Door Motor:- Enter the correct PPR value of the encoder in F2-14 and set F0-00=0(Magnetic flux vector control). Follow the Motor auto tuning process explained above. Select FA-28 Door direction judgment, it is used to detect the signal wiring of the encoder AB phase If "OPEN" is displayed when you manually pull the door to the open direction, it indicates that the AB phase signal wiring is correct. Otherwise, the AB phase signal is abnormal. If "CLOSE" is displayed when you manually pull the door to the close direction, it indicates that the AB phase signal wiring is correct. Otherwise, the AB phase signal is abnormal. Now follow the step for manual door width low bit setting. Step 1: Keep the door fully closed, take the parameter FA-23 (Low bit encoder pulse) and value will be 0. Step 2: Now manually fully open the car door till door gets flash with car panel. Step 3: Note down the change in FA-23 value (Required width for door open in encoder pulse form) and enter the note down value in F6-02 (Door width pulse amount low bit) and keep F6-03=0 Step 4: Now test the door opening and closing operation in Auto demonstrating mode using the parameter (F0-02=3). Step 5: Adjust the F6-02 value bit by bit accordingly if required. Page 11 of 26
