6 Thanks for downloading the AWCP Karaoke Software for evaluation. This is an upgrade over release , that was released on October This document is not a replacement of the actual user manual. The objective of this document is to bring you up to speed so that you can play the available lyrics and sing along in 10 minutes. You may skip Features and FAQ section if you are in a hurry. The download and install instructions are in Section 1 onwards. But, we recommend reading trough few more pages to evaluate full potential of the software and understand the value it offers to your existing singing skills and advantages of lyrics library management using technology. What is new in release? We listened to your overwhelming encouraging comments and suggestions. So, we are out with two more licensing models Franchising in Commercial category and Meet up in Club category. Please refer to FAQ section of this document for more details. Labeling up to 4 Male and 4 Female artists in feature The countdown progress bar has been replaced with countdown numeric decimal digits. Validation warnings. Beep is unchecked by default in Perform Mode An End of Line warning before 1 second of ending the line is introduced in the progress bar area of previous release. The singer needs 1 second processing time in mind to o Look at the End of Line Warning to end singing the line in 1 second o While expecting the highlighter to transition to next line. So, for practical purposes, End of line means get ready to switch to next line in 1 second. 32 popular songs to evaluate pre populated lyric database to collect lyrics from internet and build library. We encourage buy Original genuine tracks because that produces unbelievable quality as opposed to ripped off vocal tracks sold by music pirates in YouTube or various online service providers. Keep the pleasure of audience as high priority and explore original instrumentals from itunes, Amazon or at the website of copyright holder. Saavn is a good source to stream Bollywood Instrumentals. A genuine track costs between than 99cents and $1.29 in itunes store. If you can t find, please check the links provided at Free Karaoke Sharing Club. Why AWCP Karaoke Studio is a must for professional or serious singers? 1. Stay organized using technology Even in peak of Information Technology revolution, singers are still using their favorite paper version of lyrics. Many online Karaoke providers often provide a vocal rip off version of song as Karaoke that is of poor quality. So, often people search YouTube for a good Karaoke version. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes not a 50-50% chance. With AWCP Karaoke Studio, no such dependency on YouTube or online is needed. Create what you like and perform. 2. Avoid vocal removed Karaoke tracks perform with originals Many singers buy genuine Karaoke CDs but find it hard to sing without scrolling lyrics. As an example, a singer loved the song Ek Raasta Hai Ek Manzil Hai from a 2014 movie Aksar Judaai Mein and Karaoke is available in Saavn. So, he can generate his own timing file using AWCP Karaoke Studio and share with others in Free Karaoke Club ( ). 3. Stay away from expensive pirated tracks In YouTube, most of the Karaoke are provided by removing vocals those results in poor quality. At the same time, many piano experts can create genuine tracks of highest quality when we stay connected as a member of Free Karaoke Sharing Club. Many genuine Karaoke are available in itunes for less than $1 for which YouTube music pirates charge around $4 or $5 for audio. If you wish for scrolling lyrics, they may charge around $10 or above for just one song. Choose harder path - pay attention to background music When a performer hears to original song first, arranges the lyrics to sing in AWCP Studio and then captures the time while listening to Karaoke track instead of the shortcut to sing a video karaoke made by someone else for amateurs, he never loses focus from background music transitions while singing. When User starts Lyric Player, he is provided with a visual countdown 5,4,3,2,[Press Play in Mp3 Player] When Beep5 is checked 5 beeps can be heard while counting down. The user need to Press Play in MP3 player during 5 th Beep. Save Lyrics If you don t want smart save while collecting lyrics from internet fine. Very first time, it doesn t smartsave. It saves what you type. Then when you have time, you arrange lyric lines the way you want to sing. A 2 nd save is smartsave. When you type end of line {#1, {*1 And smart save labels are added at end of line for Male Singer 1 and Female Singer 1 respectively. It supports up to 4 Male and 4 Female Singers {#* Means Both Singers Time capture for each line while listening to Song or Music PlayLyrics Two Lyric playing zones A bigger lyric play area in perform tab is by default. 10 The bigger play area was possible,by keeping the lyric selection section in Studio tab. Auto Scrolling and Lyric Highlighting Online capability Whether it is one page lyric from a song or stanzas from 1000 page epic or religious scripture. The scrolling will work as long as there is a timing file. So, this software can be used in Schools, Temple Prayers, Church Prayers, Music Schools and even News Studios. Once you buy the Studio license, upload instructions will be sent. Please follow some samples at the above channel. From number of views, you can have an idea whether this is what you need!! In 21 st century should singers be using notebooks or AWCP :) FAQ Why I don t see some buttons Active in Studio Menu? This needs Studio License. Read the Operating Manual for this. The Evaluation version expires after a specified date and the software may become unusable. A. When you buy a license, we provide software to get the Unique ID of your laptop and the Studio License is tied to that. It is very complex software written with lot of effort. 11 I bought the Studio license but need more lyric time files - How do I become member of a Karaoke Club? A. It is a good idea to become a member of Karaoke Club where singers can share their lyric and timing files. For now visit Mail or call us for more details. visit B. This link might change around June I don t like Karaoke quality of online service providers. Where do I get Original Karaoke? A. Avoid buying Karaoke tracks from YouTube Music pirates, which in most cases are created using vocal remover software. Genuine Karaoke are available for less than $1 at itunes. Streaming sites like Saavn got hundreds of Karaoke under Instrumental category. If you can t find genuine Karaokes at itunes Store and Amazon click here Freekaraokes.com B. We have collected some links but beware some sites host lot of pop ups and annoying redirects and they may not be of original quality. You are the best judge. Some are original and best quality which is available after login. Which Software you recommend for screen capturing? Icecream Screen recorder A. Many AWCP users find it useful to record Karaoke video using screen capture and use it in ipad or iphone. Icecream screen recorder has been used successfully. There could be others as well, but we have not tested. 12 The capture video option should be started before you press play with 5 second delay. You should start the audio in windows media player as soon as you see next countdown after 2 or 5 th beep. Watch the video. Many Karaoke providers charge around $10 for such a video, which you can make yourself and above all you can organize this as offline library carry in USB flash drive wherever you go. Why I don t see letter level rendering in AWCP K.L.T.S, as in other Karaoke Software? A. AWCP Karaoke Studio is designed for professional Singers and Musicians who don t want to get distracted by letter level rendering. Professional Singers want to follow Music while beginners want to follow screen. If you are a beginner but want to become a serious singer, you might need this to sing as a pro. Google AWCP Karaoke Studio to know it s working. This is the only one available that is closely simulates real life Singing Scenario of referring lyrics while following Music. I want a clean database. Can you provide me software without any Lyrics? A. No issues. When you place order on License, let us know. 17 1. Download and Install Java only if you don t have it 2. Copy the downloaded file to a USB Flash drive Download Link: Copy the downloaded file bbcom_ tar.gz to a USB Flash drive. Unzip using 7z or any other utility for Windows. If you don t have USB, you can copy to C:> drive. Note: If your laptop or desktop got Linux or MacOS Operating System, open a shell command prompt, use the following command gunzip bbcom_ tar.gz tar xvf bbcom_ tar cd bbcom_ java -jar BollyWoodBandsCom.jar The following is an example where the USB flash drive was mounted as F: in a Windows 7 laptop The USB Flash could have been mounted in a different letter in your case. If you wish to work with Hindi or other supported fonts 2.1. 19 Windows OS Explorer Using windows Explorer go to F:\bbcom_ and click the BollyWoodBandsCom.jar the following GUI will show up. 20 3. Selecting a Lyric to Play For evaluation of this software and singing offline, we have provided the following songs. Click on the Studio tab Pick any of the following songs from the List and go to Perform Menu Tab. In Table of Contents a SongID is provided. You can also enter the SongID in the Yellow Box. Click on GetLyrics button of Perform menu tab. Select Play. When you look at the countdown number 2 get ready to press play button i.e. finger on your iphone or MP3 player Karaoke. As soon as you see the next number after 2 start the Music Lyric List to Play This list is updated frequently based on sharing by Karaoke Club members.
