5 4 Supply 2V power to the assembled system Red ndcator power s on when there s power 5 To actuate the nght lghtng mode slowly rotate "lght sensor" control ("luance threshold selecton ) tll the green "status" ndcator s on At the same tme the plot lghtng of the frst and the last steps should turn ON set ths parameter n such luance moment when the change of day/nght modes s requred (moment when the starway s actve or off) 6 Set the coverage range of moton sensors wth "sensor " (lower sensor) control and "sensor 2" (upper sensor) control Ther range changes from 0 cm to 20 cm set these parameters tll false responses are excluded, e the acton range should be selected based on /2 2/3 of a step length 7 Adjust the brghtness of the whole starway steps lghtng usng " / led" control (mum / mum brghtness of LED strps) when makng ntal settngs set the control on 2/3 of brghtness 8 Adjust the speed at whch the steps lghtng wll turn ON usng "speed on" control 9 Adjust the speed at whch the steps lghtng wll turn OFF usng "speed off" control 0 Adjust the pause before the step lghtng turnng OFF usng "pause to off" control ("pause before turnng off") The adjustment range s from 0 to 0 seconds Check the confgured settngs If necessary repeat the steps - 0 for convenence of the system settngs use "test" button ( "smulaton of lower sensor response") and "reset" button ( "reset / restart") not to wat tll the end of the cycle 2 To prevent false responses of the lght sensor due to accdental shadng set the delay of the "nght" mode actvaton ( "mode ON delay") usng "on / off delay" control The adjustment range s from 0 to 30 seconds use ths settng f t necessary to avod accdental shadng (for example, from one's own shadow when movng near the lght sensor) and after fnal settng of all parameters * If you have questons about the system settng and operaton please contact the "nteractve home" support servce 5 5

6 8 POSSIBLE SYSTEM FAULTS AND REMEDIES Possble system faults Remedy red "power" ndcator does not lght up at power on сheck the power supply сheck the polarty of the power supply unt when settng the luance threshold the green "status" ndcator lghts up, and the plot lghtng of the frst and the last steps does not turn ON (or delayed) check the status of "on / off delay" control: at the tme of the system settng t s desrable to move t to the far left poston, whch corresponds to "" check the LED strps functonalty some steps lghtng does not turn ON check the polarty of the LED strps reduce the sensors operatng range usng "sensor " and (or) "sensor 2" control spontaneous sensors response (steps lghtng sometmes turns on ndependently, even f there s no moton n front of the sensors, or s constantly on) remove foregn objects from the sensors effectve range check whether there s debrs n the sensors grd the system goes to "nght" mode even f the room lluaton hasn't changed (for example, by passng n front of the lght sensor) check whether the lght sensor s shaded set the backlght delay usng "on / off delay" control n the range of 0-30 seconds Other system faults contact the "nteractve home" support servce 6 6

7 9 OPERATION CONDITIONS AND SAFETY RULES The system s desgned for operaton n dry and clean rooms It s not allowed to use the system outdoor or n humd premses 2 The system must not be used near flammable lquds, gases, vapors, explosve lquds or chemcal substances 3 Pror to connectng the system to the power supply t s necessary to check whether all tems of ths manual are met 4 If durng the system nstallaton or operaton any damages of components are detected turn off the power and remove the defects 5 Entrust the system nstallaton to a professonal electrcan 0 HELPFUL INFORMATION Lght sources the followng can be used as LED lght sources: - a step full-length LED strp; - LED strps segments; - spotlghts mounted on the walls along the starway steps or star rsers; - a combnaton of strps and spotlghts The LED strps can be mounted: - n specal aluum profles wth a dffusng screen; - on plastc brackets (n ths case t s better to use waterproof LED strps) 2 Cables and connecton of LED lght sources - for sensors connecton 6-wre cables (for example, 6 x 035) are to be used: 4 conductors for a moton sensor connecton, 2 conductors for a lght sensor connecton; - for LED lght sources connecton cables wth stranded copper conductors (dependng on the number of stages n the system) are to be used; - for easy connecton of the LED lght sources negatve contacts t s necessary to use sngle-pole teral blocks or screwless terals 3 Power supply unt - select a power supply unt based on the system power requrements plus 30% margn; - connect the power supply unt usng a crcut breaker for mmedate system de-energzng when necessary; - If a separate power supply unt s used for the 8 - channel module connecton, the negatve wres must be bundled 7 7
