2 RADIO WAVES DISPLAY The Luxondes radiofrequency to optical conversion panel directly displays the ambient EM-field or the radiation of a transmitting DUT that is placed in front of it. It comprises 400 (20x20) autonomous identical sensors working as elementary visualization pixels. Elementary antennas are printed directly on each sensor s PCB. The representation of the electromagnetic field is provided through a gradient of colors. Successive photography can provide comparisons between different testing conditions. On the side of the panel you can change the sensitivity and dynamics of the system. 3 RADIO WAVES DISPLAY PC This new system for measuring and visualizing électromagnétisme radiation includes 64 sensors operating between 50 MHz and 3 GHz. Bidirectional communication (USB) is established between all sensors and a pc. This one allows to adjust in real time the sensitivity and the dynamics as well as the speed of acquisition. The software developed allows the recording and the reading of the data as well as an in-depth analysis of the results. Fast and easy to adjust, the RWD saves time in antenna radiation pattern optimization, or quality control; for example in the analysis of communication signals of connected objects or in the study of the focusing of waves (time reversal, 5G communication). It is an ideal didactic tool for teaching and a powerful communication tool for present scientific work based on electromagnetic radiation. 4 GYROSCANFIELD The Gyroscanfield is a 3D, real-time measuring equipment whose function is to directly visualize the electromagnetic radiation of a Device Under Test (DUT) in a simple and fast way. 16 sensors with detachable antennas are spread over a 60 cm diameter ring. A set of different antennas is available corresponding to your requested frequency and sensitivity ranges. Each elementary sensor around the loop converts the electromagnetic received energy in a corresponding calibrated range of visible colors by using RGB LEDs. Each sensor has an A/D converter for backup and data mining. The operation of the measuring equipment and the acquisition of data is done using an Android tablet PC. DC powering of the DUT can be performed either from the top and / or the bottom of the instrumented loop. 5 SWING ARM SCANNER The swing arm scanner allows simple and fast mapping of electromagnetic radiation. Different frequency ranges are possible upon the selected antenna card. Near field measurement of the characterization of electromagnetic pollution generated by electronic components arranged on a printed circuit activity fields is important in electromagnetic compatibility measurements. A widely used principle consits in a measuring table on which the electronic board is in operation. A controlled movement of two or three axis sensor is moved in a point to point parallel above the table in a predetermined plane mesh. Each measurement point in the mesh is stored. Then, a mapping field is built and the effective provision of the card under test is indicated on the field map obtained. This measurement requires certain precautions and a post-processing. The swing arm scanner overcomes some of these limitations by providing quick, high resolution direct measurements. The scanner is made from composite materials so as to remain neutral for EMC. 6 ELECTROMAGNETIC LENS The electromagnetic loupe can display magnetic radiation. This model has 16 sensors. Each sensor is composed of a loop and a detector whose bandwidth is between 1 and 440 MHz. The detected signals are then sampled from synchronously triggered by an internal trigger. The visualization is performed with leds positioned above each sensor. Two potentiometers are used to adjust the low threshold and the high threshold to always get the maximum visible dynamics. 8 ANDROID APPLICATION XML / NFS standard The XML / NFS standard: TR IEC: 2010 will define a universal interchange format for data from different Near Field Scan (Near Field Scan). Its format is suitable for different 2D or 3D coordinate systems for a frequency or temporary domain.
