Case Number(s):GMP , ZON and ABN218-1 Project Locaton & Property Sze: The subject property s located south of Oglesby Avenue, west of Clay Street, north of E. Par Street and east of nterstate 4 and consstng of +/-.242 acres. Project Descrpton: The applcant has requested a growth management plan amendment to Subarea Polcy S.2.5 to allow for 163 addtonal multfamly unts and add 19 Oglesby nto the subarea. A planned development (PD) amendment to add 19 Oglesby Avenue nto the PD, amend the condton requred stormwater ponds be 25 from the rghts-of-way to 1 and delete the condtons requrng the mprovement of Crandon Avenue. The fnal request s to abandon the Crandon Avenue rghts-of-way adjacent to the ste.

3 PROJECT DESCRPTON: REQUEST TO ABANDON CRANDON AVENUE RGHT OF WAY; AMEND FLU SUBAREA POLCY S.2.5 TO NCREASE MF UNTS AND ADD N 19 OGLESBY, PD AMENDMENT TO ADD 19 OGLESBY AND AMEND CONDTONS OF THE PD)..ABANDON CRANDON AVENUE RGHT OF WAY The abandonment s beng requested n order to create a suffcent developable area no bsected by Cty rght of way. The sze of the requested abandonment totals acres. Ths segment of exstng rght of way does not functon as a Cty street. An mproved north-south rght of way s beng provded as depcted on the proposed development plan to offset any mpacts on the exstng street network. Objectve 1.1 of the Transportaton Element of the Growth Management Plan provdes that the Cty shall contnually mplement resdental development roadway connecton standards whch promote convenent access to adjacent resdental developments and nearby uses yet dscourage cut-through traffc. Abandonng ths lttle used segment of rght of way wll dscourage cut-through traffc and provde convenent access to resdental development. There s are no exstng utltes located n the requested abandonment area. Surroundng property owners wll not be negatvely mpacted and support the abandonment request..amend FLU SUBAREA POLCY S.2.5 Subarea polcy S.2.5 ncludes a 4 unt cap for the number of multfamly unts. The 4 unt cap was ncluded to address the school capacty/concurrency process. The new proposed cap s 537 unts. The multfamly land use s an approved use n the exstng Calvary Assembly Church of God Planned Development (Ordnance No ) (the "PD"). A strke through of the subarea polcy s ncluded wth ths submttal. ll. PD AMENDMENT An annexaton request for the property located at 19 Oglesby Avenue, Wnter Park, Florda (Tax d ) s beng submtted concurrently wth ths applcaton. Ths request ncludes amendng the PD boundary to nclude the 19 Oglesby Avenue property n order to provde more developable area.
