Indoor unit For power nd ommunition with the indoor unit, the LAN dpter is onneted to the indoor unit's P/P terminls vi wire le. 5 5 Instlltion 4.. Eletriity meter If the LAN dpter is onneted to n eletriity meter, mke sure it is n eletril pulse meter. For more informtion, see the instller referene guide. Connetor XA is for the onnetion of the LAN dpter to the digitl outputs of solr inverter/energy mngement system, nd llows for the integrtion of the Dikin Altherm system in Smrt Grid pplition. XA/N+L supply 0 V AC detetion voltge to the input ontt of XA. The 0 V AC detetion voltge enles the detetion of the stte (open or lose) of the digitl inputs nd does NT supply power to the rest of the LAN dpter PCB. Mke sure XA/N+L re proteted y fst ting iruit reker (rted urrent 00 ma~6 A, type B). The rest of the wiring to XA differs depending on the digitl outputs ville on the solr inverter/energy mngement system nd/or on the Smrt Grid opertion modes tht you wnt the system to run in. Mounting the LAN dpter SG (XA/+4) Closed Closed The LAN dpter is mounted to the wll y wy of the mounting holes () in the rer sing. Before mounting the rer sing to the wll, you hve to remove some knokout holes ()(), depending on how you wnt to route the wiring nd insert it into the dpter. You n route nd insert the wiring from the ottom or from the rer. Respet the following rules nd restritions: Wiring Wiring routed nd inserted from the ottom Wiring routed nd inserted from the rer Possiilities nd restritions NLY for surfe wiring routed from the ottom. When routing wiring from the ottom, ALWAYS let it enter the dpter vi the holes in the ottom of the sing (). It is NT llowed to lmp this wiring etween the sing nd the wll nd let it enter vi the holes in the rer (). The wiring for XA nd X4A MUST e routed nd inserted from the ottom. The wiring for XA nd XA CAN e routed nd inserted from the ottom (or from the rer). When routing nd inserting wiring from the ottom, remove the required knokout holes in the ottom of the sing () nd reple them with the grommets from the essory g. NLY for in wll wiring entering the dpter from the rer. The wiring for XA nd XA CAN e routed nd inserted from the rer (or from the ottom). The wiring for XA nd X4A CANNT e routed nd inserted from the rer. It is NT llowed to route wiring from the ottom, lmp it etween the sing nd the wll, nd let it enter vi the holes in the rer (). 6 5 Instlltion Mounting holes Bottom knokout holes Rer knokout holes INFRMATIN Wiring from the ottom. ALWAYS reple ny removed knokout holes with the grommets delivered in the essory g. Before inserting the grommets into the holes, ut them open with utility knife, so tht you n let the wiring enter the dpter through the grommets. The grommets MUST e inserted into the holes efore you insert the wiring into the dpter. 5.. To mount the PCB to the rer sing 4 NTICE Wiring from the rer. When removing knokout holes, mke sure to remove ny shrp edges tht might rise round the holes, this to protet the wiring from dmge. 5.. To mount the rer sing to the wll Hold the rer sing ginst the wll nd mrk the position of the holes. Drill the holes. Mount the rer sing to the wll with the srews nd plugs from the essory g. NTICE: Risk of eletrostti dishrge Before mounting the PCB, touh n erthed prt ( rditor, the sing of the indoor unit,...) to eliminte stti eletriity nd protet the PCB from dmge. NLY hndle the PCB y its sides. 5. Conneting the eletril wiring DANGER: RISK F ELECTRCUTIN Do NT turn on the power supply (oth the power supplied y the indoor unit to XA nd the detetion voltge supplied to XA) efore you hve onneted ll the wiring nd losed the dpter. NTICE To prevent dmge to the PCB, it is NT llowed to onnet the eletril wiring with the onnetors lredy onneted to the PCB. First onnet the wiring to the onnetors, then onnet the onnetors to the PCB. 7 5 Instlltion 5.. To onnet the indoor unit XA INFRMATIN In the indoor unit swith ox, the le is onneted to the sme terminls the user interfe is onneted to (P/P). For more informtion, see the instlltion mnul of the indoor unit. The wires from the le re NT polrised. When onneting them to the terminls, their polrity does NT mtter. When entering the wiring from the ottom: inside the LAN dpter sing, ensure strin relief y routing the le long the indited le pth. Connet indoor unit terminls P/P to LAN dpter terminls XA/+. XA XA X4A SS INFRMATIN XA Mind the polrity of the le. The positive wire MUST e onneted to XA/; the negtive wire to XA/. WARNING Mke sure to onnet the eletriity meter in the orret diretion, so tht it mesures the totl energy injeted INT the grid. XA XA PP X4A To onnet the solr inverter/energy mngement system 5..4 INFRMATIN 5.. This onnetion is NLY supported y LAN dpter BRP069A6. To onnet the router INFRMATIN XA How the digitl inputs re onneted to XA depends on the Smrt Grid pplition. The onnetion desried in the instrutions elow is for the system to run in the "Reommended N" opertion mode. For more informtion, see the instller referene guide. XA WARNING XA Mke sure XA/N+L re proteted y fst ting iruit reker (rted urrent 00 ma~6 A, type B). X4A WARNING When onneting the wiring to LAN dpter terminl XA, mke sure eh wire is seurely fstened to the pproprite terminl. Use srewdriver to open the wire lmps. Mke sure the re opper wire is fully inserted into the terminl (re opper wire CANNT e visile). NTICE To prevent ommunition prolems due to le rekdown, do NT exeed the minimum end rdius of the Ethernet le. 5.. To onnet the eletriity meter Ensure strin relief y fstening the le with le tie to the le tie mounting. Provide detetion voltge to XA/N+L. Mke sure XA/N+L re proteted y fst ting iruit reker (00 ma~6 A, type B). For the system to run in the "Reommended N" opertion mode (Smrt Grid pplition), onnet the digitl outputs of the solr inverter/energy mngement system to LAN dpter digitl inputs XA/+ LAN. INFRMATIN This onnetion is NLY supported y LAN dpter BRP069A6. When entering the wiring from the ottom: inside the LAN dpter sing, ensure strin relief y routing the le long the indited le pth. 8 6 Strting up the system 4 N L XA XA XA X4A SS N L 5. Finishing the LAN dpter instlltion 5.. LAN dpter seril numer Before losing the LAN dpter, note down its seril numer. This numer n e found on the dpter's Ethernet onnetor (ottommost numer on X4A). Note it down in the tle elow. Seril numer INFRMATIN The seril numer is used during the onfigurtion of the LAN dpter. For more informtion, see the instller referene guide. 5.. To lose the LAN dpter Put the front sing to the rer sing nd tighten the srew. 6 Strting up the system The LAN dpter gets its power from the indoor unit. For the LAN dpter to funtion, therefore mke sure it is onneted to the indoor unit, nd the indoor unit is powered on. After powering on the system, it n tke up to 0 minutes efore the LAN dpter is opertionl, depending on the system lyout. At ll times mke sure the LAN dpter softwre is up-to-dte.
