All our products are tested at factory level as part of our standard procedure, such as a full scale test of a complete, fully assembled hook station including calibration on our own test stands, meaning no further testing is needed once the hook station is installed on site. The system ensures homogeneous tension on mooring lines and alerts the operator if tension on one or more lines move towards the critical limit. The LAN based MLMS with black-box memory is also available with hooks from most other suppliers including SPM and FSO/FPSO. The Laser Docking System measures the exact and real-time distance and speed data providing invaluable information to the captain or pilot when berthing a ship. The data is shown on a large display activating alarm lamps if at risk of reaching critical limits. Furthermore, the Black Box function of LDS logs the entire docking operation enabling replay to evaluate the actual incident. As an extra feature MARIMATECH s Laser Docking System incorporates a built-in drift warning system for constant measurement of ship distance to harbour. All instruments are designed for the harsh marine environment offering minimum maintenance, whilst following the Shell standards and requirements. In short, MARIMATECH is capable of connecting any sensor (wind, rain, visibility, wave, current, etc) as well as external systems such as weather forecast. 10 E-Se a Fix Pi l o t E-Se a CAT Sy s t e m f o r a c c u r a t e piloting a n d b e r t h i n g Covering any piloting and berthing function the E-Sea CAT system has been designed to balance the requirements of reliable and accurate function, easy and quick operation, and a lightweight, compact size. The CAT system uses the newest and most reliable positioning technology, and depending on either deep sea piloting or VLCC berthing, the requirements for accuracy may vary from 1 metre down to 2cm. The E-Sea CAT is built around 3 main systems with a comprehensive range of GPS technology. 12 O f f s h o r e Positioning u s i n g t h e E-Se a CAT t e c h n o l o g y MARIMATECH s unique technology of E-Sea CAT is the ideal solution for offshore positioning. Apart from a positioning tool, it is also an information system, which can distribute environmental information along with mooring load information. The E-Sea CAT system is available in all options from standard GPS all the way up to sophisticated solutions with speed accuracy in the range of ± 1 cm/sec (0.02 kt). Several vessels can use the system simultaneously on a single frequency as each user has a unique ID code. No differential shore station is needed.
