2 MODUL-iT ISO modules and accessories make things talk to each other The modules are the heart of the MODUL-iT system. All modules have 60x40 cm outer dimensions. They are interchangeable between all cabinets, racks and carts of the MODUL-iT system. Within the range of modules, one can choose between trays and baskets, made in light grey or transparent ABS. The trays are available in 5, 10 and 20 cm deep; the baskets in depths of 10 and 20 cm. All modules are stackable and can be divided in both directions with light grey or transparent dividers. These dividers can be placed and fastened easily into the MODUL-iT modules without any extra tools, making use of a unique dovetail joint. The dividers can also be shortened at choice to create compartments of varying dimensions within the modules. The shortened dividers are connected to each other with T-pieces. All trays and baskets can be equipped with a safety stop, so they can be used as drawers inside the different storage and transport elements. Label holders can be put on the dividers or on the outside of the modules. Alphanumeric characters are placed on the upper side of the bearing edge of the modules to indicate in a simple way the XY-coordinates of the different compartments. Medicines, IV bags, nursing disposables and other materials, all can be stored in a very efficient and clear way, using MODUL-iT modules and its accessories.
