4 :Avanxis IV 4-up film and polyplate imagesetter The :Avanxis IV is a capstan based imagesetter for 4-up format jobs. It can handle sizes up to 558 x 609 mm or 22 " x 24" and is intended for resolutions from 1,000 until 3,000 dpi. Wide choice of output media With :Avanxis IV you can image films such as :Alliance or :Impower-Plus as well as polyester :Setprint-Plus printing plates. This engine is a fully automated prepress production system that can also be considered as an entry level CtP device.

5 Superiour precision imaging :Avanxis IV has a capstan based imaging system that uses a 5-facet polygon mirror that reflects a precision laser diode beam through a specially designed lens to narrow the beam and project it onto an exact point. This high repeatability and accuracy can be achieved on a variety of output media. This machine has a remarkable registration accuracy of +/- 25 microns (+/- 1 mil) for your colour separations and +/- 50 microns (+/- 2 mil) for your polyester plates. Speed up your pre-press process The :Avanxis IV can image a B2 page in 30 seconds (at 1,200 dpi). This is made possible by the very high spin speeds in the imaging unit and the improved SCSI data transmission capabilities without quality compromises. These improved capabilities will get you a data transmission rate of 20 MB per second. The :Avanxis IV machine will receive information in 2 MB batches. This assures that data is transmitted to the imagesetter with a minimum of delay. Easy-to-use display The comprehensive user-interface makes :Avanxis IV easy to operate. It shows options for output conditions, the mediatype that is loaded and selected size to be imaged. It can even convey messages from the on-line processor. Once the media is in the machine, everything from exposure to punching, cutting and processing is performed automatically. On the output end, there is a buffer zone between the drum and the processor in order to prevent obstruction of media. Automatic punching The :Avanxis IV features the most current punch formats. Please contact your nearest dealer for more information. Integrated online processing The on-line processor, with its bridgeless design, is a compact unit which keeps the footprint to a minimum. The internal tank is 20% deeper than those of similar models making a longer transport stroke possible. It also ensures the processor to keep up with the imaging speeds.

6 :Avanxis VIII 8-up film imagesetter The :Avanxis VIII is an external drum imagesetter for 8-up format jobs. It can handle sizes up to 838 x 1,146 mm or 33 " x 45"and is intended for resolutions from 1,200 until 4,000 dpi.

7 Top class precision Media Rollers Magazine Drum :Avanxis VIII works with an external drum system, which ensures for extremely high precision time and time again. This fine piece of machinery excels at difficult tasks such as multiple separations of a single page on the same sheet of media. This is made possible by preventing film distortion with a low-stress loading system that puts minimal tension onto the media during loading. Speed up your pre-press process For a media size of 810 x 1,120 mm (31.8" x 44.1") at 2400 dpi it can comfortably output an amazing 20 flats per hour. Even if you take the punching and cutting into account, it will still be able to handle 17 flats per hour in perfect register. And what s more on the input side of the machine it can receive data at 16 MB/sec, which further makes this a machine that will shorten your pre-press workflow considerably.
