Image of a woman in a red uniform working on a bombardier nose of a B-17F Navy Bomber. Woman is also wearing a gold badge saying Zone X Temporary Poster is based on a 1942 color photograph by Alfred Palmer of a woman working at the Douglas Aircraft Company in Long Beach, California. Poster also describes the types of jobs available and to see their local U.S. employment service. At the bottom of the poster, there is text stating the following: OWI Poster No. 52. Additional copies may be obtained upon request from the Division of Public Inquiries, Office of War Information, Washington, D.C. The uniform is dark green, and has a gray tie and black shoes. The pig is painted ivory with rosy cheeks and dark colored ears. The eyes of the bank are plastic holographic stickers that make the eyes Wink depending on the angle of view. Material: Ceramic/Plastic Height: 7.00 Inches Width: 4.00 Inches (at widest point) Room: Room 201 Shelf: Shelf 3 Condition: The paint on the bank has been scratched or removed on the edges in several places, including the hat, face and uniform. At the bottom of the bank, the stopper is missing. The inside of the bank appears that it was used for the collecting of coins.

3 PastPerfect Training: Cataloging Your Collections with PastPerfect 5.0 Example # 3 Tintype Date: 1880 Circa Year Range: 1865 to 1885 Height: in Width: in Room: Room 202 Drawer: Drawer 4 Dimension Details: The tintype with envelope is approximately 4 7/8 inches high and 3 3/16 inches wide. The tintype without the envelope is 3 ¾ inches high and 2 ½ inches wide. Description: Tintype of a young woman wearing a dark colored dress. She is wearing a locket and large drop earrings. Her cheeks are tinted a faint pink. The back of the tintype appears to be a rich brown color. The paper frame holding the tintype is faded in color, with red ink stamped borders on the front. On the back of the tintype frame is a black paper backing that has faded to a purple color. The tintype appears to have been at one time adhered to the frame, identified by creasing on the right of the tintype and residue from the frame backing.

Place: Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Studio: The Original Fowler Studio Dimensions of Card: H: inches W: inches Room: Room 200 Drawer: Drawer 2 Description: Cabinet Card Photograph of an infant wearing a long gown. The infant is resting on a wicker chair, propped up with a floral patterned ruffled pillow and fur throw. At the bottom of the card, printed in metallic and red ink, is Original Fowler Studio on the left, and the address 238 N. Eighth St Philadelphia on the right. The card has rounded corners and a beveled edge that is printed with a gold/metallic ink border. On the reverse of the card, the logo for The Original Fowler Photographer, 128 North 8th St., Philadelphia Duplicates can be had at any time is printed. The number is also marked in pencil on the reverse, located in the top right hand corner. The card appears to have a residue on the front of the image, with an adhesive residue mark located across the torso of the infant. There is slight wear on the upper left and lower right corners of the card, where the ink has worn off.

Map is intact and folded within front cover. Item placed in acid free poly envelope. Scope & Content/Abstract: Visitor s Guide to the Centennial Exhibition and Philadelphia, Published by J.B. Lippincott & Co, on 715 and 717 Market Street, Philadelphia. Guidebook contains a folded reference map of the streets of Philadelphia, as well as information about the Centennial Exhibition and localities of Philadelphia hotels, train stations, and other Philadelphia landmarks. Travel information, including costs by train to local attractions, is also listed. In the front of the Visitor s Guide is an attached note saying We herewith hand you the Official Guide to the Centennial Exhibition Buildings and Grounds, which we trust will be of service to you should you desire to visit the same.
