We would first like to clarify what the contract Queensland Government QGCPO offers to you in benefits: Due diligence has been performed on suppliers by Qld Purchasing Department to ascertain capabilities of suppliers and products in the following areas o Equipment performance and reliability. o Supplier service capacity covering response time, service personnel, spare parts and consumable stock, service call handling capacity and training/installation. o Running costs. o Capital Equipment costs and value. o Level of technology for the particular brand. The contract running costs (click charges) are governed by Qld Government and the Supplier Corporation, they are not controlled by the individual service dealer or branch. This gives you security that running costs of the equipment will not be adjusted without Government Consultation and approval. Konica Minolta has LOWERED these click charges to 0.6 cents Black and 6 cents for Colour on all NEW Machine purchases In short, all the hard work has been done for you. Basically a supplier will not be on QLD Government Contract in your region if they have not passed all the checks and balances set by QLD Purchasing.
