PRECUTIONS FOR PROPER USE This product is not a safety sensor. Its use is not intended or designed to protect life and prevent body injury or property damage from dangerous s of machinery. It is a normal detection sensor. Mounting The tightening torque should be.8nm or less. M4 nut M4 (length ) screw with washers Stability indicator Since the EQ-3 series uses a -segment photodiode as its receiving element, and sensing is done based on the difference in the incident beam angle of the reflected beam from the sensing, the output and the operation indicator operate according to the distance. Further, the stability indicator shows the margin of the incident light intensity and not that of the distance. Hence, the distance at which it lights up/off depends on the reflectivity and is not at all related to the output operation. o not use the sensor when the stability indicator is off (unstable light received condition), since the sensing will be unstable. MS-EQ3- (Optional) Care must be taken regarding the sensor mounting direction with respect to the s direction of movement.
