The Konica Minolta team at Stand 9-DE340 in Hall 9 will demonstrate how the digital printing solutions provider supports print professionals in improving their business by increasing turnout, achieving more flexibility and serving customers better. From 18 to 25 May, visitors will experience the new bizhub PRESS C8000 in a live demonstration for the first time in Europe. Flanked by the new bizhub PRESS C7000 and both industryleading partners and the company s own applications, Konica Minolta displays a strong focus on colour output and variable data printing. The new bizhub PRESS C8000 is the flagship of the Konica Minolta hardware that is showcased at IPEX. With the release of this system, Konica Minolta is strengthening its position in the heavy digital production arena. The company puts a clear focus on 1

2 image quality, durability, flexibility and volume capability. We see the bizhub PRESS C8000 as a perfect complement to offset machines. For this reason, it is particularly targeted at offset printers moving towards digital, for example Print-for pay businesses, says Olaf Lorenz. Other members of the PRESS brand are the bizhub PRESS C7000 and the bizhub PRESS C6000. They are similar to the flagship model in image quality and consistency. With an output of 70 and 60 pages per minute respectively, they are an excellent choice for newcomers to the production printing arena. Furthermore, Konica Minolta displays an array of its latest digital colour printing systems, including the bizhub PRO C65hc and bizhub PRO C6501. On top of its own printing systems, Konica Minolta displays Kodak Digimaster EX 300 for monochrome printing and KIP Color 80 for wide format colour printing at this year s IPEX. Another third party novelty - yet with a Konica Minolta inkjet interior - is the ColourPrint 282 by Industrial Inkjet Ltd. This machine uses the compact and reliable KM1024 printheads from Konica Minolta. To make Konica Minolta systems match individual customers requirements, e.g. support of variable data printing, the digital printing solutions provider keeps several applications in stock both its own and those of third-party suppliers. For printers focusing on high quality and repeatable colour output, Konica Minolta Color Care defines, achieves and maintains product-specific quality standards for any colour device. When extra creativity is the key to success, Konica Minolta s own creative Photobooks business tool is the perfect software. It is a new browserbased, scalable and customisable print management system for restructuring operations, reducing costs and delivering quality customer services.
