The + implies YES and the implies No Alcohol, Alkali and Nitro information must be taken into account when laminating and UV varnishing. Any base colour or mix containing an ink with a rating may not be suitable. Blue Wool Scale Colour Fastness: 1 = Poor 8 = Good When mixing 2 or more inks, the light-fast value of the blended ink will match that of the ink with the lowest light-fast value. Ink Consumption Estimator When printing on coated stocks estimate approximately 0.5 kilos per 1000$ SRA1 printed solid one side only. 11 Ink Additives SpeedyDry Cures Most Drying Problems SpeedyDry, works well with almost all types of ink, it attaches itself to the pigment and varnishes in the ink and then attaches to the substrate. Its properties create a chemical reaction that allows drying from top to bottom and side to side at the same time. It speeds drying times up to 75% and in some applications, it also enhances ink gloss and increases adhesion of the ink on most hard to print substrates, including various plastics, while increasing rub resistance and eliminating chalking. DrierPaste B Surface Drier DrierPaste B is a powerful, cobalt-based, surface drier, which reduces the drying time of the ink. Addition: 2% max. MultiDrier Universal MultiDrier is a drying agent activator. It develops oxygen using the emulsified water available in the printed ink film. If other drying agents are present, the drying of the entire ink film will be accelerated. Addition: 2% - 3%. Ideal for cleaning between colour changes, when used on a regular basis this product will also prevent the build-up of ink deposits and roller glazing.
