5 Real Time Linear Array Imaging Real-Time Radiography, which is also sometimes known as real-time radioscopy, is an advanced radiographic nondestructive examination (NDE) technique in which x-rays or gamma rays are used to produce digital images of a component. Real-time radiography works by emitting radiation through an object, these rays then interact with either a special phosphor screen or flat panel detector containing microelectronic sensors, which gives off light when the interaction occurs, creating a digital image. 6
6 Real What is Time DR Linear Array Imaging Direct Radiography, (DR), is a filmless method of capturing an image using either a line detector, a flat panel detector or an array detector, (such as Rayscan). The image is converted instantly from an analog to a digital state; viewable on your computer. 7
