2 THE SCHREIBER HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR GAMBOL COLLECTION INTRODUCTION: The Gambol, the Senior Prom of Port Washington s Paul D. Schreiber High School, was first established in It is presented each year as a gift to graduating seniors. Each year s Gambol features a theme which is developed and created by Port Washington parents and community members. SCOPE AND CONTENT: The Gambol Collection is comprised of photographs, art work, news clippings, ephemera, financial records, and correspondence from 1952 through 2004 (with gaps for 1971, 1973, 1974). Also included are lists of Gambol themes from 1952 through 2004 and a list of Gambol guidelines. Files donated by Richard Kane contain his art work for the 1990 Gambol ( Orient Express ). Material from the 1984 and 1987 Gambols, donated by Aaron Morgan, includes two binders with his art work, photographs and miscellaneous materials for the 1984 ( A Touch of Class ) and 1987 ( Night of a Thousand Stars ) Gambols. Two binders, donated by Norman Glavas contain his files and designs for Gambol 96 ( Casablanca ) and Gambol 98 ( New York Rocks ) ORGANIZATION: The collection is arranged chronologically, with additions placed at the end.
