1 BUILD 3 Tri-Color Candy Corn 1. Go to and SIGN UP for a free account then Sign In 2. Select the Create new design button to open the editing screen 3. Select Properties from the Design menu

2 4. Update the Name field to something meaningful, then select Save Changes 5. From the Geometric dropdown, select the Paraboloid shape 6. Mouse-over the build area and left-click to create a Paraboloid October 23,

3 7. From the Helpers drop down, select the Ruler and then click on the build area to display the measurements of the object. 8. Select the height measurement, and specify the value to be 50.8 mm. Set the width to be 25.4 mm, and set the depth to be 12.7 mm 9. Create a duplicate shape via Control + C Control + V to copy / paste October 23,

4 10. From the Inspector, select a different color for the copied object 11. Select the height measurement, and specify the value to be mm. Set the width to be mm, and set the depth to be 7.62 mm 12. Determine the set-back distance of both objects. In this example, the set-back distance is mm October 23,

5 13. Set the set-back distance for the smaller object to be 2.00 mm less than that of the main object In this example, the set-back was mm, so the smaller object set-back was set to mm 14. Set the height off of the surface (Z-Axis) to be 7.00 mm 15. Select both objects via Control + A, then select Align under the Adjust pulldown October 23,

6 16. Select the center horizontal alignment dot (highlighted in red) to align the two objects 17. Select both objects via Control + A then select the Group button above the Inspector October 23,

7 18. From the Geometric dropdown, select the Torus thick shape 19. Left-click on the build surface to create the Torus object 20. Select the height measurement, and specify the value to be mm. Set the width to be mm, and set the depth to be mm October 23,

8 21. Set height off of the surface (Z-Axis) to be mm note this is below the surface level 22. Select both objects via Control + A then select the Align option from the Adjust pull-down 23. Select the center horizontal alignment dot (shown in red) October 23,

9 24. Select the main object, then select the Ungroup option above the Inspector 25. Select the main body and the Torus (hold down the shift key while selecting one object then the next) 26. Select the Align option from the Adjust menu 27. Select the center depth alignment dot (shown in red) October 23,

10 28. From the four-way controlpad in the upper left corner, select the right arrow to orbit your view to the side 29. Select the Torus and main object 30. Select the Align option from the Adjust menu 31. Select the center depth alignment dot (shown in red) October 23,

11 32. Select the main object and the Torus, then select the Group option above the Inspector 33. Select both objects via Control + A 34. Select Align from the Adjust pull-down menu October 23,

13 38. Edit the box to be mm high, mm wide, and mm deep 39. With the box selected, select the Hole option in the Inspector menu 40. Select the Z-Axis offset (currently 0.00) and enter mm October 23,
