Participants All Participants must be aged 18 or over and be residents of Malta. 4 2.2.2 To qualify for the promotion the Participant must purchase the Promotional product between 14 May 2018 and 31 July 2018 inclusive. Customers must register their purchases online no later than 14 August Any missing data can be submitted no later than 31 August Any products which are ordered by the customer and have not arrived by the closing date of the 31 st July 2018 will not be eligible for the cashback, regardless of the order date All Promotional Products must be purchased from retailers located within the countries referred to in The promotional products referred to in must be brand new. They must have had no previous customer owners nor be in any way reconditioned or refurbished. Promotional Product returned (free of default) to the seller shall not be valid for the promotion and Participants found claiming for these products shall not be eligible. If Canon becomes aware of any such fraud, it shall be free to take a legal action against any Participants involved. 3. How to Participate 3.1 To make a claim, participants must do the following: Register online at: and provide all these details: -(i) full name; (ii) Postal address; (iii) An address personal to the participant; (iv) Full details of the product purchased, including serial number and barcode; (v) a copy of the till receipt (in store purchases); (vi) an order confirmation (internet purchases). Note: if a non-promotional product is purchased at the same time as a promotional product, the above requirements apply only to the purchase of the promotional product. 5. DISCLAIMERS 5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. Nor can Canon be liable for any breakdown or malfunction in any form of electronic communication, no matter the cause. However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon s employees or agents Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to the Participant in order to avoid undue disappointment Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 6. DATA 6.1 Canon Europa N.V. and Canon CEE GmbH, the latter registered in Austria and having a place of business at Oberlaaer Strasse 233, 1100 Vienna, Austria, are the Data Controllers for the purposes of applicable personal data protection laws and regulations in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants in relation to this promotion. All personal data will be processed by Canon Europa N.V. and/or its group companies solely for the purpose of administering this promotion including supplying the information to third parties appointed to administer the promotion and/or for any authorized marketing purposes. By giving their personal information for this promotion, participants are agreeing to their information being utilised for this purpose; and should the participant moreover agree to their contact information being used further for marketing purposes by Canon, they should check the relevant opt-in box when completing the claim form. Failing to check this box shall mean that all personal information related to the participant shall be deleted after being used for this promotional purpose. In no event shall Canon share this information with any third-party external to Canon Europa N.V. and its group companies.

LAW AND JURISDICTION To the extent permitted by law, these terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them and this promotion shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria without respect to its conflict of laws principles and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Austria.
