That love has since been blended into his professional photographic career to form a unique, fresh perspective and high-end product. With experience ranging from large commercial clients, advertising and tourism agencies, sports, wildlife and stock work, his technique is transferred from one application to another with an out of the box approach. Kelly s images have appeared in such publications as Canadian Geographic, BC Outdoors and Equinox magazines. He is the Turning Pro Columnist and feature writer for Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine, Canada s first outdoor photography publication.

Similarly, his passion for nature and the outdoors has further inspired his unique style. Darren can often be seen searching for the closest waterfall to shoot...or jump off of. Darren started Focus On The Rockies, a photography workshop that brought world-class photographers, such as Daryl Benson, John Marriott and Darwin Wiggett, together to instruct novice and intermediate participants on improving their photography skills. 5 HOST PHOTOGRAPHERS INSTRUCTING AT EMMA LEVEZ LAROCQUE - LENS & QUILL DESIGNS Emma developed a passion for photography at an early age, realizing that looking at the world through a lens is one way to constantly see things from a new perspective. She has been working as a professional photographer and writer for more than ten years, specializing in landscape photography and natural outdoor portraits. Since moving to Powell River in 1999, she has enjoyed exploring this area, always with camera in tow. The moment creativity starts flowing is Emma s favourite part of the process of photography, and sharing that energy is one way she tries to inspire others. Emma s images have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, and have been featured in calendars and books, including her own Off the Beaten Path: Discovering Powell River and the Upper Sunshine Coast and Off the Beaten Path: Discovering the Campbell River Area.
