INTRODUCTION : Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) established under the Act of Parliament (No. 61 of 1956, and as amended by Act No.12 of 1987 and Act.No.10 of 2006) is a statutory organization under the Ministry of MSME (Govt. of India). KVIC is engaged in promoting and developing Khadi and Village Industries (KVI) for providing employment opportunities in the rural areas, thereby strengthening the rural economy. KVIC has been identified as one of the major organization in the decentralized sector for generating sustainable non-farm employment opportunities in rural areas at a low per capita investment. KVIC undertakes activities like skill improvement, transfer of technology, research & development, marketing etc and helps in generating employment/self-employment opportunities in rural areas. KVIC is implementing many Schemes and Programs covering Khadi, cluster development programme (SFURTI), Self-employment generation programme (PMEGP) etc. In this regard, KVIC intends to engage the professional photographers and videographers to capture high resolution photography and videography for various online and offline mediums. 2. ABOUT THE PROJECT : KVIC proposes to engage the professional photographers and videographers to capture high resolution photography and videography for various online and offline mediums. The visuals shall cover activities of Khadi, Khadi units, cluster units, PMEGP units etc. The visuals should be self-expressive about the activities and in high resolution. The list of activities to be captured along with locations is enclosed herewith.(annexure 1) The young professionals having startup set ups will be given preference. 3. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY : The photographers should have own Maximum MegaPixels professional DSLR Camera Kit.

3 3 File size of minimum 15 inches on 300 dpi (without interpolate) KVIC plans to make a photo bank of around 100 such photographs covering various activities/schemes. 4. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR VIDEOGRAPHY : The videographer should deliver aesthetic true high definition video of about 60 seconds duration in the form of vibrant story narration. KVIC plans to make around 20 such short videos covering various activities/schemes. 5. OTHER TERMS & CONSDITIONS : The companies/individuals having experience and expertise on photography and videography are eligible to apply. Young professionals of photography and videography are also be eligible to apply for this assignment. Startups in this field can also apply. The selected professionals are required to visit Khadi Institutions, units set up under PMEGP program, units under cluster development program to capture the photograph and videography as per the list attached herewith at Annexure - I. The images/videos will be used at any/all offline and online mediums. The images/videos should strictly comply with the technical specification as per clause no. 3 & 4 of this document. The agency / professional are also expected to do detail storyboarding for each frame to enhance the image / video quality. KVIC will have perpetual rights to the images and videos (raw as well as edited footage) The agency/professional is expected to carry out post production image enhancement, if necessary. The duration of the assignment is two months from the date of issue of the work order. The assignment shall be extended for further period of two months if necessary for the additional photography and videography requirements.

4 4 KVIC reserves the right to select one or more agencies at its discretion based on portfolio of the professionals /agencies. Though the financial bid is called for 100 photographs and 20 short Video as mentioned at Annexure -II and Annexure - III, the number may differ as per requirement. Any legal disputes /discrepancies arising out of this assignment shall be solved within Mumbai jurisdiction. Travelling /Lodging and Boarding Charges for the Agency/ Professional will be paid as per the Govt. of India norms applicable for Assistant Director-II, KVIC Pay Grade (PG Band 4600). Such expenses will be reimbursed to the professional /agency on submission of the relevant bills/invoices. Such expense will be applicable for one photographer/videographer only. The selection of photographer and videographer will be based on their submitted portfolio depicting their experience with various clients. The professionals/ agencies can quote for both (photography and videography) assignments or individually for each activity. The photographers/ agencies may submit the following : a) Portfolio b) Financial Quote as per Annexure - II for photography c) Financial Quote as per Annexure - III for videography The professionals / agencies should submit the portfolio document and financial bid in two separate envelopes duly sealed & Superscribed as Portfolio Document and Financial Bid respectively. Interested professionals /agencies can submit their portfolio along with the financial quote to the Director - Publicity, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Gramodaya, 3 Irla Road, Vile Parle (West), Mumbai by 22 nd March 2019 by 3 pm.
