16 All down to the light on the far hills. The light and dark patches. The gorse gives it something to sit on. Nice subtle pleasant scene, perhaps it would have nice to have had a boat on the water. 17 Couldn t figure out what looks like clouds. The girl gives added interest and gives something to look at. 17 Well caught, pin sharp on front of the fox. Good rendition of fur. Well caught in action. Nice plain grass background. 18 Parts of cars make good abstract images. Chrome curving down and nice reflections. Where ever you look there s interest. Well taken you fell you can touch it
17 Like the backround, gives good background for the tank itself. A fun picture, pin sharp. You can see it s moving, bit mundane 20 Like the fact that it s an advert behind him. The relationship between the two men. Iconic and it gells together. Sharp, colouration and good exposure. 15 There s a blue cast on the image. The buttons are so shiny my eye goes to them as they stand out so much. Image is soft. A third or more of the image is virtually black. Lovely lighting on the hair. 17 I think it s more of a fish. With imagination you can almost read anything into it. It s exciting and you can let the image run away.
17 Love the water and position of the winds. Eye is sharp but going off in the white area of the body tending to merge in, loses modelling on the body. Like the position of the bird. 17 Well caught, beautifully sharp, good lighting 17 Slightly different angle to what usually see. Gorgeous lighting. Been lucky with the sky, nothing to detract from the image. Probably just taken off. Held the lighting beautifully. 18 Beautiful lighting, beautifully held. Can see all textures in the blacks, good illustration of skin tones even though in black and white. Crosses in the eyes?
17 Spot on. Exposure really good. Catchlight in the eye, beautiful rim light, you can see all the feathers 18 Beautiful rendition. Take someone with dark skin is very hard, can see the skin tones. Tells a story, this is my abode and these are my things, her necklaces are her pride and joy. Held really well 18 Good image, hard to take. The panning gives a sense of speed and kept the bike sharp. Nice space to go into. Good lighting gives modelling throughout. 18 You ve done a brilliantly to get this pin sharp. It doesn t matter his hand is blurred. Muted background blends in a bit but because of the black face it doesn t matter.
16 Different angle is good. A little flat, lighting could be better but nothing is burnt out. Background is a little higglety pigglety but works reasonably well. 16 Wall leads you into the picture. Background is quite nice, lighting flecks on the grass but bright on top of the wall. The phone box is the focal point but you get stuck looking at the top of the wall 18 Technically spot on. Sharp. Compositionally the person is just in the right place. Good lead ins, beautiful lighting, harsh but handles very well. Like the letterbox 17 Nice subtle lighting, held well, nothing burnt out. Glow on the windows and reflections, seeing the bits of light takes you round the picture.
17 Beautiful scene, very soft. Like the shafts of light and reflections in the loch. Recessions going through. Rays of sun take you into the mountains, lots of interest. Could maybe have a bit more light on the hills. 16 The white vertical line goes against all the diagonal lines going into the image. Car is just in the right place. 16 Like the fence takes you into the image to the group on the mound. The area on the right is punctuated with green plants. 19 Beautifully subtle, soft lighting. I like that you ve kept the shoulder in. Could have had the baby a bit higher to get the mouth and the eye in.
17 Well caught, can see bits flying off. The lighting modelling the man is good and nothing burnt out. The porta cabin is not the lightest part of the picture. 17 Like that the author has put the centre to one side. Nice and sharp in the middle, beautiful modelling on the petals not burnt out on white bits. 17 Like the implications of this. Whites are well held. You can almost feel the texture of the lama 17 Good actions shot, sharp all the way through. Nice rendition of the flames. The background is a bit messy but tells the story that they are in an arena. Caught the rider just right coming through the flames.
17 Composition good, you can make up your own stories as to what s happening. Lighting good 20 Technically spot on. The face is perfectly sharp, muted background makes the bird look 3D. 17 Technically spot on, can see every feather. Nice base to stand on. Catch light in the eye, nice depth of field, sharp in most areas. A little light near the beak 20 Eyes bring us straight into the image. Beautiful light on the lips and good modelling on the face. Not harsh lighting. What you call a proper portrait.
