During this two hour field trip, our instructors, Stephen Weiss, Tom Tussey and Scott Rovak will show you how to set your camera to get professional quality images of the fire trucks, building, and firehouse equipment details. A macro lens or close up filters will be helpful accessories for this trip. Those three features of your camera are what make the picture look the way it does. Understanding how and when to use them is a huge advantage. 10 PHOTO SOFTWARE LIGHTROOM Great for Beginners & Intermediates Cost: $129/person Length: 4 hours (2 classes, 2 hours each) In the first two-hour session, using our in-class computers, we will review the interface and show how to customize it to streamline your raw processing workflow. We will review how to import, catalog, organize and process your digital files to your liking and export your files as jpeg, tiff, and Photoshop files. Did you know you can set your color balance after you shoot with a raw file? In our second two-hour class we will process files showing you how to make several versions of the same file to explore your creative possibilities and how to selectively edit certain areas/tones/colors of your file (bring in a few of your raw files on a USB drive or CD so we can show you some options on how to process them). Do you have hundreds of images that you want to process and want to know how to speed up the process? In the second two-hour class, we will continue to expand on using the tools in the program and demonstrate the power of layers, layer masks, and making composite images.
