3 Solar Shield Technology (SST) keeps thermal radiation out. Infrared radiation from the sun is reflected by SST. This results in cooler profiles and a host of other benefits. Transparent PMMA film Pigmented base film with SST PVC profile RENOLIT EXOFOL products help to provide protection from excessive temperature increases. With SST, profiles retain their dimensional stability while windows and doors remain tight-fitting. Keeping the temperature down. SST acts as a protective shield for the entire component. Pigments in the coloured base film reflect infrared radiation, thereby substantially reducing the build-up of heat in the profile. All types of plastic are protected. Solid colours are produced by pigmenting the base PVC film. For woodgrains, the pigmented PVC base film is additionally printed accordingly. Both solid colours and woodgrains are protected by the transparent PMMA film. It is made of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), resists the fluctuations of the European climate and absorbs UV radiation at more than 95 percent. Therefore, we offer a warranty of up to ten years for RENOLIT EXOFOL MX. Absolutely easy-care. The care effort is as low as can be: Even a single cleaning once a year with detergent and water on a sponge or soft brush is sufficient to retain beautiful looks across the entire film service life.

The top layer comprises of a poly vinylidene fluoride layer (PVDF) in addition to the PMMA film of RENOLIT EXOFOL MX and RENOLIT EXOFOL PX. Repels dirt.
